It is Gentle Giant? Very good, almost perfect little piece, big miss because it isn't 1/4, and Gentle Giant is part of Diamond Select company,I think. Hulkbuster is Infinity Studio or ? Maybe he is better than XM' s or close. ESC Hulk 1/3, Hawkman IS 1/3 and then 2,3 yours pieces are 5 best statues ever made, for now. Best regards from Serbia

Your collection is very beautiful and varied but the truth is that I believe that statues are to be admired both from the front and from the back and for that reason the designers put so much effort into the rear design. I see all the collectors who fill themselves with statues without having space and in the end you can't even move one of them. Every afternoon I sit down to have a coffee and admire one by one. I think that's the purpose. thanks for your video
Thanks for the kind words. I totally agree with your comments and agree statues should be viewed from all angles. Unfortunately I’ve been collecting since 2004 so managed to hoard many gems and most collectors today are going after the new pieces so selling old pieces don’t sell well. Prefer to keep them then give them away for nothing.
Thank you for the kind words. Yes that Hulk with Banner is a lovely set up. I originally had no intentions in buying the piece but after seeing it in person at Singapore convention it was day one order.

@@northernmunkey1 I like to display a bit crowded too, I think the way you display is how you express and create that special space with amazing pieces. Other people prefer museum style with pieces 1 foot apart from each other and that’s fine too but personally and enjoy more the way you display it
Awesome collection and display cases! I came into this video thinking that the SS OG Hulk statue was a bit overrated. But after seeing yours I can see why it’s a grail piece. I still prefer the XM Hulk Transformation. Both are crazy expensive! Need a classic Hulk to complete my collection.

Yes both Hulks are great but for me the OG was all hand sculpted way back then when the collecting scene was small compared to the digital sculpts of today. The green skin tones are perfect and the Hulk muscles are massive slabs compared to so many that are ripped and their body fat contents is like 5%. Also a simple base I like the statue to do the talking not the base.
In my opinion u have several Grails. The Wolf Predator, The David Banner/ Hulk by XM Studios, The Starscream by XM Studios, The Magneto on Throne, The Optimus Prime by XM Studios. The Punisher by Sideshow. I have the Iron Studios Punisher with switch outs but the Punisher u have is Massive. Just a phenomenal piece with the sculpted muscles. Awesome glass cabinet displays as well. Thx so much for sharing. Way to go.

Yes unfortunately space is premium and I would love a museum style setup with one or two pieces per cube but I am not prepared to downsize my collection or keep them boxed up. Where’s the fun in that? Met many collectors who don’t have space to display but still get in statues to review them then either move them on or just keep them boxed up as investments. I also had to build my own cabinets out of metal for the weight but I dont have them closed. You said you bought the sliding glass doors from IKEA? Was it just the rails and custom glass or how did you set that up?
Juan I bought the rails and doors from IKEA. If you decide to buy them you need to visit ikea in person as the doors over hang the bottom rail and you need to measure them exactly. More then a few millimetres out and your screwed. The glass I had to buy from a glass company as IKEA don’t do clear glass as the doors are designed for wardrobes.
Great collection. Fellow North collector here looking for a good repainter if you know any? I’ve heard the name Ian Wilkinson mentioned a few times now and I believe he is also in the Northeast but can’t find out much about him as I’m not on Facebook etc…Living in County Durham I can’t seem to find anyone close who might be able to repaint one of my Sideshow premium statues as I don’t fancy sending it through the post to someone.

Great point you made about the Wolf. But I would have to disagree with it being at floor level. It’s more groin level lol. In an ideal world if I could have go back and re make the cabinets there would only be two levels as those Queen Studios bust would be top shelf as they look down. Unless you have a battle diorama or something where characters are made to go together, having more than one statue per display cube gives the impression that you don’t have the means to adequately display your stuff. It’s better to buy just a few high-quality things and put just as much money into a custom display case or acrylic pedestal. I found out that most of my friends don’t give a crap about my statues if I have more than a handful. But when it’s a limited few, it shows that you have some discernment, and then people are more willing to take a look without rolling their eyes.
Thats a fair comment but these aren't normal size cubes or cabinets and I never intended it to pass for a diorama. Sorry to hear your friends don't like your statues and maybe two fingers to their eyes will stop the eyes rolling in future. Thanks for watching and your thumbs up.
