The song isn't theirs, it was written and performed by Bolland & Bolland in 1981, it just wasn't that popular, quo were lucky and it became super popular

Quo's last concert was in Dec of 2022. There are none planned for 2023. But they've been going since 1962, that's 60 years of damn good rock n rocll music.

in the Army was their first new album in 1986 after the bands break up in 1984.. with new drummer and bassist (Rhino still there), and was a great hit. Its a cover from Dutch brother Bolland and Bolland (1983), and a kind of anti-war song..

HIs son isn't with the band, the guy that you are referring to is Ritchie Malone, when Rich knew he was unable to carry on due to his ill health, he recommended Ritchie to take his place.

fuck ukraine, i was raised there, and its embedded with a cancerous hatred for anything none ukrainian, my father was scottish, and he ended up divorcing my mother because ukrainian police kept harassing him, and teachers at school bullied me because i was a "mixed race traitor"
