What a great show! Rockin' set list! If I could trade something, I would. Alas, I have nothing to trade. All the more, thank you for this posting and for brining SQ into my living room, Darryl!
Comme d'habitude rien à dire ; magnifique pêche et qq nouveautés sq la play list ...cela fait du bien aussi parfois. RICK auchant sur GET BACK et DENVER ....WWWOUA . Et puis ROCKING ON ET COME ROCK WITH ME......quel cadeau
I think it's one of very few live recordings of it. Especially that the song was recorded well on whatever you want or if you can't stand the heat album if I remember correctly... so quite some time ago.
Glad you enjoyed it mate! I have got loads more of this sound quality, I never trade for inaudible bootlegs, the Wembley 1996 gig is just uploading for you now mate! Hope it's the right one!
I don't know why Jeff gets slated, he was arguably the most enthusiastic, and definitely the most technical drummer Quo ever had, may be too technical! And if his tempo was too lively for Rick and Francis, im sure they would have marked his card. Basically he kicked the band up the arse, and got them steaming along
True, true and true. Jeff's drumming is great and is why I started playing drums, and I'm told you can tell that he is my main influence still after 20 years playing. Also thanks for the uploads, your a star xxxx
Quo's best drummer, no doubt. Now 21 years later on since he left and we've half-forgotten his drumming for a while, it's always a pleasure to listen to recordings from that era and enjoy Jeff's tight and smart drumming, which suited Quo 120%. Missing his drum fills on many songs, where we just get boom-ting nowadays.
@@wirelessboogie I have to disagree, at first he brought some life back into R&F but it became too much too fast and the groove was gone. Best drummer is the one and only Matt Letley, he knew how to groove and lay a heavy steady beat.
Darryl Nuth That's brilliant Darryl! That gig @ Wembley Arena was the last one I went to with my dad who passed away in feb 97. But ive been to plenty more Quo gigs since then :)
david ryan Ah I'm sorry to hear that mate! I'm on holiday up north at the moment, but I'll be back down south tomorrow night, the file is ready to upload so I'll upload it as soon as I get home!
The announcement before "Get back" was for me😂 I through him the CD "Don't Stop " on stage in front of his legs. This was no longer Quo for me and i wrote some arguments on it,Francis doesn't like😂The gig & audience were fantastic 👏But Quo lost their way ,my opion🙉
On occasions the looseness of the playing comes across very under rehearsed and Rossi's sound during the 90's wasn't the best they'd changed things and to me not for the better. It got better again years later but once he changed guitars and pick ups once again his sound - the band's sound - changed again
