Status Report on Development and Version 7 

For the first 2.5 years of my ham hobby, I regrated buying this software. It felt outdated and didn't make sense. After learning about the digital modes in general, and getting more into logging and such, I can't believe how powerful this software is. Everything works together so well. But there's a lot of things that happen under the hood that you don't see outright and can only fully appreciate if you were doing things manually before using this software. Looking forward to version 7 and hoping to be able to buy it vs subscription services as I already have enough subscriptions to manage in my life. Anyhow, great job team and look forward to the next release.

Recently purchased HRD after watching the HRCC video last month. Love it, great investment!

I watched parts of the video back in December. I have just partially watched it again and found the coupon bit. It doesn't look like it's still valid in January. Great work. Big enterprise there. I always thought it's just you working on the program couple of hours a week. It looks a bit more complicated than that... 73.

It would help in a Business Development sense, as well as, for loyal HRD customers to add some graphics to the talk. Try PowerPoint slides next time not to say your faces are a distraction from the updated HRD features.

Enjoyed the video. Sounds like great things are happening. One question I have is on the data base. With the switch sql lite will that allow the database to be network capable ? I have a couple of laptops that I use. I'd like to only have one database to use for both laptops. Wondering if I should wait for version 7 or install the MySql database.

I love Ham Radio Deluxe. I am wondering how long until the 710 will be added to the software

I am so tired of repairing Microsoft Runtime 2013 (which I can't uninstall and reinstall as its not available from Microsoft). Which as a POTA activator with 582 POTA activation I am running that repair on both my Field Laptop and my desktop EVERY WEEK since August of 2022. There is nothing worse than the laptop not accepting any more entries in the middle of an activation.

Is it possible for you to use microphones when making the video as theres alot of echo on audio. Regards VO1CH

Fresher Look and Feel, PLEEEEEASE do a Night mode ...

HRD is great software, but some of the interface configuration is a little wonky, all over the place. Overlays that look like specific radios is a good idea. I think that the Win4Icom graphical interface looks drastically better than the HRD graphical interface. It's great to hear about all the new features that will be coming to HRD in the future. The maintenance renewal was confusing to me. If I can install a new version without buying maintenance, I don't know how the new features wouldn't be available, unless the software key needs to be updated over and over. Your RU-vid audio quality with all the room echo is horrible! Please consider improving your RU-vid audio with lavier microphones, or some other microphones to improve your audio quality.

Your audio has so much echo that many of us older hams can't understand much of what you are saying. Great software though..

Great updates, but guys, next time put a microphone closer. The audio is terrible.
