I could see these being wonderful near hospitals where people need somewhere to go sleep and shower if they are taking care of someone in the hospital. Regular hotels are just too expensive for someone to get a few hours sleep. And at an airport was genius!

Our Grace is all grown up now. Not long ago she use to get home sick now she's here there n everwhere!! You go girl.

Not Grace one minute saying how scary it is that someone could just see in without the blinds then the next saying how she would love to have a peek inside other people’s pods to see what they are doing haha

honestly capsule hotels in airports makes SO much sense. i'm from the US and travel kinda often and the only time i've seen a hotel in an airport was in the detriot airport (i think?) and even though it was a normal hotel its such a great idea. it had it's own little security area for people who were returning back into the airport

Again, not a capsule :D It's just a tiny room. In real capsule hotels you only get a bed, and while other spaces are all shared, they're very clean and spacious (talking about Japan, ofc).

Amsterdam is a great choice! I feel like you would love all the museums in Amsterdam+ nemo! It also has some cute foodplaces to check :-) i personally really loved Budapest, florence and prague❤️ Oh and Antwerp and Brussels are also lovely places to visit especially around christmas time in my opinion 🤗

I've stayed in that capsule Hotel and hated it, the purple light and air con gave me a headache. Hated that there was no 'escape' i.e. window, and the reason the bed is so high is the next-door room the bed is literally underneath yours. I booked it the night before an early flight and booked it on the way back. I couldn't face it again so I cancelled and stayed at the other hotel inside the airport. It was lovely, tiny but luxurious with a massive window overlooking the runway and only £25 more! xx

Hi Grace! I think you would really enjoy visiting Spain, but more specifically, Valencia. There's plenty to see and do while still being a small and really cosy city. I truly think you would have a great time walking around and discovering all that it has to offer. Also, the food is AMAIZING!!

Grace!! Have you ever stayed in a hostel with multiple beds in the room? The biggest + worst I've stayed in was 24 beds per room (I had top bunk), 5ish rooms per floor, 4 floors, communal bathrooms with showers that only ran while you pushed them, and a club next door so you basically couldn't sleep because it was so loud... That was in Barcelona and I wouldn't recommend lol. But I know there are some classy + affordable hostels in London with 4-8 beds per room and more comfortable conditions! Also the cheapest way to travel.

There's a capsule chain I love called City Hub that I would LOVE for you to review, they have a really nice twist on it with an app that connects you to local experts who let you know about local events that tourists don't hear about and all the services are self service using a little wristband nfc tag. Not an ad lol, I just love staying at them

This was really fun! I'm glad to know it exists, just incase I am traveling to or through England and want something easy, like for maybe a night or two. You should definitely visit Amsterdam, so many good vibes to be found - the light festival starts in December which always makes for a fun activity during the winter

Also Ive stayed in that yotel! I liked it and it was definitely preferable to sleeping on an airport bench, but i found the lack of daylight very timewarp-y 😂

Really love your video. I will be going to Japan in 2.5 weeks. I always want to see what it is like to stay in a capsule hotel. I had just booked a two-night stay in a regular hotel in Kyoto, then booked at a capsule hotel for the same two nights. Finally, I booked one night at a capsule hotel and one night at a regular hotel. I guess I am nervous and excited at the same time for the new experience.🤣

Theres some kind of similar places but I don’t know if they count as capsules. If you book a room with no window for Z hotels, it’s a similar vibe. It was perfect for me and my boyfriend when we spent the weekend in London and were barely around the hotel

I love cityhub capsule hotels, the pods are so cozy. You can adapt the lights and music, absolutely love those pods. They have them in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Copenhagen. Also pretty affordable, think around 50 euro a night. Could come in handy for your Amsterdam trip ;)

OXO is my favourite! Mum and dad used the religiously, and so do I! Beef, chicken, lamb, and vegetable stock 😋

Now I want to explore some capsule hotels too! Also, I just checked the google and Amsterdam does have some interesting looking capsule hotels 😄 I'd love you to come to the Netherlands :)

I really think you would enjoy the Netherlands, not just Amsterdam. Perhaps look into the smaller cities like The Hague, Delft and/or Leiden! Also, Alkmaar and Haarlem are more close to Amsterdam and really cute.

You said you wish there was a capsule hotel in London - isn't there a whole chain? Z Hotels? I know they're not actually just sleeping pods but it's pretty much the same thing as the one at Gatwick. Possibly a tiny bit roomier but looking at your room, it's very similar...

I suffered a bit of anxiety when you put whole OXO cubes in the pan. You pull out the foil tabs, squash it, rip it open and then pour it.... I live in a one bedroom UK flat, so I'm used to minimalist living. Everything has a place, space is a premium - OK it's not micro, but I have to utilise available space.

It's so cool you had your own bathroom.. can two people stay in that room? Its looks great except the pink/green light 😬
