I'm a native of Donegal and loved this video. I didn't know you could stay at the lighthouse. From there you can travel to Carrigart and explore Downings and the Rosguil peninsula and from there head to Marble Hill, Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy, and visit the next peninsula, Horn Head (mind the narrow roads to and from it because it's become very popular with visitors). The beaches at Downings, Ards and Marble Hill are well worth a visit for walking or swimming.

Amazing vlog Lizzie. My wife and I are so lucky to live near here and have stayed at the lighthouse twice, and also watched an outdoor opera here (in the dark with the waves crashing) about lighthouse keepers who mysteriously go missing. You would have loved it, obviously Chris would have peed his pants 😀.
