Hey there lovely :) The topic of staying forever young at heart is something I've written about and created videos on many times in the past because it is seriously so important to my spirit. I believe that cultivating that deeper connection with our childlike selves helps us soften our shells and it allows us to have way more FUN in this life! Here's a video of something that's been on my heart and mind these past few weeks. I hope you enjoy it! The first half is a slow nature video with a voiceover and the last half is me just casually talking to ya about what's been on my mind. I hope it uplifts you this fine Sunday :) I'm over here, enjoying the misty rain and fog cradling the blue mountains as I send you a warm hug and lots of light-hearted energy :)

I was so happy to see this video this morning! You make me smile, think and slow down. My childhood was happy and then very sad when I lost my mother to cancer at the age of 14. I was one of her caregivers a couple of years prior to her passing. Before her sickness music was my joy. I love all types of music to this day. Your videos spark life back into my soul and spirit.❤️

wow, thank you Else :) To be honest: I worry about the future world a lot - specifically with my generation and GenZ due to social media addictions and technology. Tik Tok alone and how that media is consumed is terrifying to me and it's a big reason I don't use social media anymore.

I like your channel, message and philosophy of life. I am 49 and love to laugh, play and am ever so curious. I always feel in our culture (here in the U.S.) people are fixated on "success" and one of the first things asked when you meet is "What do you do for work?" but what about just getting to know each other for WHO we are?! I'd like to know what took you there. I'm guessing you have a video on your move?

Hello Helena and thanks for sharing! I've lived in the countryside in the southwest France for 8 years now and I have come to cherish the changing of the seasons and the simple joys of country life...Watching the leaves change, picking berries, finding mushrooms, cooking from my seasonal finds, growing a garden, saying hi to the neighbors (cows, horses and sheep!) and my absolute favorite is making flower arrangements from all of the wild flowers!! Oh, the simple joys...Thought I'd share mine!!

I clicked so fast..Thank you for this beautiful video .. When I was a kid I love to sing and now whenever I feel stress or I want to feel happy..I will open songs on RU-vid and sing along, out loud and dance like a little kid not caring about how I sound or if the lyrics is right .. after that I feel so much better 💜

The Child Within...It is a wonderful spirit and is to be hugged and understood for anyone to move forward into adulthood without all our own baggage....as children...I love your videos and relate from my younger years when so many psychologists like John Bradshaw said exactly what you are saying, except you say it with so much emotion, and warmth and connection to your own life. Well, I watch your videos for a while now and It's a long time i wanted to tell you how kind looks your husband and how funny and joyful he seems to be. I think that all along Life, we have a regard to our childhood. I feel I have to concentrate hardly to find again who I was. My childhood stopped too quickly to " earn" my life....then, all the years after have been " practical ".." bankable"...don't know if I can use those words in english..anyway, I am happy when I see young people focusing all their own Life in well being, in making every little moments of their life very important one...What intelligence It is, How It's make sense, make the whole difference....and How It'll be so important building their older days...because their older days will be linked with the beauty they build the young days.....I am so convince with that. And It's That we need to teach at school...

I wasn't allowed to be a child. I remember one time I had felt pens although they were a gift but my father took them and put them in his closet . one day he wasn't home and i was too bored and bit sad i picked two pens out of twelve from his closet just like a thief and i started doodling and doodling and i ruined them i still remember they were the red and the blue pens, when i realized I threw them in trash then my brother saw them and told my father. He hit me . I was little and the pens were my gift. And i couldn't understand i thought he was even right to do so because it was always like that at home ..an other time i made something that i saw in a children's magazine out of paper (it was a horse) and i was so happy and proud then my brother wanted it and we fought. my father took it he threw it for sure cause i looked for it a lot and i didn't see it again and so so many other things.. if i bullied little kids for a while at school it's because of him. i hated and i hate myself so so much and now I am 17 and i am depressed and so afraid of everything i was never a child and i don't know how it feels to be free and happy. To be alive. I feel so terrible . He was a Dementor hah I am sorry i felt ache in my heart and i needed to let it out

I will send you this following Truth for you to know...as I know you are a Intellectual, Sensitive Being that relates to others, and you are thoughtful, analytical, and you do not come to decisions without these characteristics...so this is from Aristotle... Take it to heart from Canada to you Simple Joy, "Aristotle was arguably the first world-class Empirical Scientist, and unlike many of his teachers like Plato, he had faith in the ability of people to reason, and when they did apparently that could provide no accurate account of Nature. Instead, Aristotle decided to trust his eyes, trust his ears, trust his nose, and all his senses in observing and categorizing all living things and non- living things. This Empirical approach according to him lead him to have a portrait of the soul, and that is striking in its contradiction to the free spirits imagined by the most free spirits of the time. I being Carolyn D Hogarth do believe in the senses telling us of the soul, of the individual. Some people are dreadfully closed down, and just act like their fathers, and others find the spiritual side of lives, and others remain on a path of self-destruction. What complicated lives we live Glenn. It is sad that he didn't get impeached, but there is a reason for What is? We must go on believing in the democratic system. I think you might be coming my muse ... lovely video Helena apart from a revolting clip into a hideous graphic handmaids tale in the advert was awful. I I never watch anything like that and then to have its most hideous violent parts of people being hung graphically thrust into my screen/face left me feeling jarred and contaminated (problem with being empathic) wish you didn’t put adverts in the middle , spoils it for me. You are too good for that but you tubers never see that (they always get snotty about having to make money etc) I know one RU-vidr who now has 3.4 million subscribers and he never put ads in the middle of his videos only at both ends, and he is now very wealthy. RU-vid want £16 a month to remove ads, that is so overpriced , so I’m stuck with it. I think slow living, sensitive people should start their own lovely platform. No yuck allowed. Anyhoo just thought I’d let you know what a horrible thing it was right in the middle of a video about childlike innocence. Reminded me that I hid my childlike nature from the very scary world growing up. Hugs 🤗

ohmygosh i'm so sorry to hear that you saw that Mary! I am not aware of what ads go up on my videos - RU-vid gives you an option of where to put ads but that's it! I didn't know Handmaids Tale was an ad on my videos. I can't stand the show - too violent and dark for my own taste so I understand! Being a small youtuber, I make very very little money from RU-vid ads and financially I have made the choice to put one ad in the middle of my videos because truth be told, I need the funds if I am to continue doing this each week. It's a lot of work and time and energy. If I had a big channel, I wouldn't need to put an ad in the middle, but where I am now, and the money I earn now from the hours put into this behind-the-scenes, I have made that decision for me and my family's income. But I understand if you prefer ads not to be in the middle, totally get it :) Sending a warm hug to you Mary :)

@@helenawoods As we both know we get what we believe. if you believe you can make enough money with just ads at both ends you would. Believe in YOUR manifesting power not RU-vid ads in the middle, and you will make the money you need and more. Have faith in your power , “use the force Luke” as the saying goes... he, he perhaps I’m your muse ... this is all being said good naturedly btw no hate , your video with its revolting ad left me in tears, really highlighted why I left my childlike joy , because the world wasn’t safe... so I guess it did me a favour for highlighting it to me Much love.
