In this video, I walk through the installation of STEDI Type-X Sport 7 inch LED lights. STEDI is an Australian company and builds quality lights for off-road vehicles. I have 4 KC 6 inch daylighters on the rack, but installing these two lights on the front bumper has made a huge difference. They are of the highest quality construction, extremely bright and sleek looking. They throw more light than my factory headlights and the four kc daylighters combined. STEDI will be my go-to company for all my off-road lights.

Planning to buy this, so it will work without connecting the included high beam connectors?

@@OverlandPlus even without the high beam piggyback connected will it work mate? Do I still need to bypass the high beam connector or just leave as is then just plug and play the harness?

@@christoperdeypalubos2302 if you want them to work with your high beam then you have to use that piggyback connector. In my case I did not want to connect/operate with factory high beams, so I did not use that connector at all.

@@christoperdeypalubos2302 no need to bypass the high beam, leave as is, it’s plug and play. Simply connect it to your source.

Can you put this on A pillar? Do you think it may reflect off the hood. Wish they had a spot light.

I think they are a bit large for a pillar. I’m thinking of doing their square ones for A pillar, but they too are a bit large. Agree a 5 inch size in either would have been perfect.

im looking to buys these but im nervous since i have to have them shipped would customs charge or hold them here in the states? I mean did you have any issues and how does the US to AUD $ work?

Shipping did take a couple weeks but no issues.

@@OverlandPlus okay I had thought it would and maybe had to pay a custom tax fee for importing or something. I run with 2 Kc gravity on my JL right now but these definitely are bit cheaper and looks really good! Thanks for replying to me and sharing this video be safe

Is there any way to change out the orange ring to a different color? Is that ring plastic or rubber? Curious if it could be painted?

I asked the same exact thing from the salesperson at Stedi, unfortunately for this model, it cannot be changed. Their pro model has different colors and it cannot be changed. It is plastic (Good quality).

Had you considered any other 7” led lights before you decided on these? There are a couple others i was looking at but keep coming back to the quality of these. Curious anout your thoughts. Thanks man

@@momomotorsports I ha e the daylighters by kc on the rack and looked a lot for lights on the bumper. I’m so glad I went with stedi, quality is top notch, looks amazing.

@@OverlandPlus I just got mine in and am blown away by the quality of the lights. I mean even the branding on the package is top notch! Thanks again for the video. Your video was the reason i got them!
