Steel ammo no good at some indoor ranges: Info for new gun owners

something I was reminded of when a new rifle owner went to an indoor gun range.
They did not allow ammunition with steel core or steel casings or bi metal bullets.
This is useful to know before you buy range ammo or pick where you go to train.

I'm somewhere on the Colorado Plateau and thankfully my range is vast expanses of BLM land in one direction and the National Forest in another... and only 15 minutes drive time for a suitable place to practice... God's country is the best range there is... I feel for the folks that have no other place to go except indoors, plus the added financial cost that's required of paying... 😢

Must watch out for Colorado liberal lawmakers. They are no friends of freedom and constitution

I am in Florida and land here is expensive. But every county has a public gun range, at least one. The problem with those are short distances and safety

It's true that some of the the Colorado Plateau is in the state of Colorado, but the name Colorado Plateau denotes a geologic land mass that actually encompasses four states...which are Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona... and I'm in a constitutional carry state and it's not Colorado... 🤠👍

Yeah... I hear what you're saying about safety and public ranges... I assume a public range in Florida means free entry, but it also means a lot of people around you in which you have no clue as to their diligence in practicing safety... public ranges must be kind of scary with a bunch of people who don't know what they are doing... (everyone flagging their neighbor) 😲😖😬
