He sure does deserve it. So glad he's a Steeler. He still needs some seasoning, but that's a good thing. Means some potential is still untapped. Let's also say that Beanie Bishop deserves his too. From undrafted free agent to 3 interceptions in two games, is fantastic. He's always in the right place. Let's hope that continues.
Just shows how garbage Canada’s offense was that had Calvin misrepresented as a “gadget guy”. All that speed with his improvements at route running is a threat. He finally has an OC and great qb to show that.
CAIII is not only a great player but after being to a few Steelers training camps and observing his demeanor he does seem to be the same humble person on and off field. Very generous and polite to the fans. Prayers going up for God’s hand on his life, keep on keepin’ on, young man ❤

I understand why some people might think Russ is acting, but I think that’s just genuinely who he is. A good person who looks for the good in everything
So much for Russell Wilson having lost "it". He's been everything we could have hoped for, including showing great patience in letting his leg heal, and while Justin had a chance to show what he could do. That said, boy am I glad Tomlin went with Russell. I think we may have the best team since Ben was at his peak. Now we have a stellar defense that rises to the challenge, and a capable offense that is picking up steam. Our Special team is unbelievably good. One huge splash play almost every game. Being a Steeler fan is fun again.
He was just a burner, now he's figuring out how to run routes, and he's getting single coverage cuz of Pickens. Combine that with a QB that knows how to locate him.
@@nahor88 Calvin on a stop and go route on one side and Pickens on a corner route on the other would beat an undisciplined cover two. So when Najee and Jaylen force the D into a cover one to stack the box, one of them will more times than not be open.

Even tho with calls and stuff the tds were lacking his cards are very consistent 2 games both over 250 yards go Steelers he will teach fields a lot about being a franchise qb
Shows when you play in a better system than Denver that Russell can actually play. I'll admit I was a hater, hopefully he can show more of this vs actually good teams.
Mike T isn’t some great wizard that saw things everyone else didn’t. The QB move had to be made, it was a simple choice in fact, and Tomlin deserves credit for doing his job and making the call. Why did the move have to be made? The Steelers offense was one dimensional with nearly all plays taking place within seven yards of the line of scrimmage. All teams had to do was load the box and stop the run. With Justin’s scrambling skills he could pick up yards and move the chains but he wasn’t stretching the field at all. This put too much pressure on the run game and overall negatively impacted the performance of the offense. Coach T HAD to try Russ out at QB. Justin wasn’t giving the team the full range of QB options and they weren’t going to win close games because of it. He HAD to see if Russ could stretch the defense and add the medium and long range passing game. It turned out that he could. If Russ played poorly then JF goes right back in but it was a move that HAD to be tried and tried as early in the season as possible.
Russ was always QB1. He was injured so Justin came in until Russ was healed enough to play. I'm confused why people didn't know that QB1 would come back when he was over his injury.

I think the Steelers defense faced an offense that was very desperate and we’re going to get a lot of peoples a game going forward . Didn’t surprise me that New York came out swinging. Steelers defense is just fine. Enjoy a week of stress-free football lol
They are making splash plays and the defense is incredibly talented and scary dangerous right now, Steelers are a Super Bowl contender team. The players are outstanding. Don’t worry the defense is truly incredible especially this season 🖤💛
Defense is phenomenal. They sometimes play contain to avoid the big play. However the defense also provides tons of sacks and turnovers. An elite defense is more than just yards and points. An elite defense makes plays when it matters and Pittsburghs D does that better than anyone.
Steelers beat the two worst teams in the league.. we'll see them against true contenders.. give the ball away late in the game and see if a contender lets you off the hook..
