Hi Fred. Thanks for all the great content. No doubts that steg speakers are indeed the greatest I've ever hear and I have a set of mss6 on order. I have come very late to the world of SQ and my initial installation was all done using mainstream products but now as I have spent that money I wish not to spend anymore on things like amps. So my question to you is will, are JL audio amps any good for SQ? JL audio amps I have are the XD range. Slowly Slowly I will change them to the right stuff but if they're OK for now I will continue to use them. Look forward to your reply. Thank you once again.

Hi mate, thanks for the support, glad you liked them, amazing they are.. JL are great on subs, didn’t fall for the amps, especially for the xd series, very thin and cold sounding, amplifier is very important to achieve that high performance/sound quality, as a quality head-unit and dsp as well, take it slow but make it right, thanks for watching

Hi Fred, i assume this is the best from steg. May i ask also what is the difference between the ss and mss series of speakers, they seem to be the same master stroke line. Also will my zapco z150.6 channel be optimal power for the Steg SS 3 way running full active? Thank you

Hi mate, they are completely different, SS1 are the best tweeters ever tested, so detailed you could hear every single bit, MSS1 is very smooth feels warm and sound as it’s 3d background, it’s a great tweeters for voice, very natural, SS3 are very smooth natural voice, MSS3 bolded vocals with kick, SS6 needs proper door seal to achieve heavy kick bass, amazing kick, MSS6 deep kick and punchy bass, overall the SS is better, but yet the MSS is amazing like no other at the level of 3k, and yes, your amp will work just fine, if you want the ultimate sound setup, then I’ll Highly recommended the master stroke amps line, if you need any help with purchasing genuine Italy feel free to contact, thanks for watching

Wow I am very intrigued by the beautiful design, I thought it was only looks but I recently saw some tests and the frequency response of the Steg drivers was phenomenal.. I guess good looks and good performance! Fred & Sound, tell me since Steg is Italian how does this Steg SS-6 driver stack up against the Audio Development ESA Bass? This SS-6 and the ESA Bass are the only two drivers in this size range which are true "Woofers" not midrange and will also fit in a car door (not like extreme mounting depth which is important in a car!). Myself, being a man who ALWAYS run's 3 way setups have no need for a midbass that plays up super high frequencies. I would much rather have a woofer that plays low notes with authority and can cross at say 50hz-300hz and then let the midrange take over from 300hz and up. This SS driver looks like it has a decent amount of excursion on it. What do you cross these at? I would like to hear any experience with these and how they stack up against other Italian drivers like the Audio Devlopment or the Quartogio (sinfoni) - But mostly the ESA bass since it appears to be the closest competitor in the 6.5" size range. Yeah it’s an amazing piece of art, sounds amazing, it is way better than the ESA, I use them in 45hz -6db, midrange is great as well, but the tweeters, they are out the world, so Much details but yet very sweet crisp and warm, amazing set.. happy Xmas mate stay around and thanks for watching
