The fact that Steph is averaging 31-6-5 with 2 steals on 47%fg & 42%3pt against the DPOY and probably the best defensive team in the league overall in the last 10 years shouldn't be forgotten in history. If he and the Warriors manage to secure one more win and he wins Finals MVP this is gonna be a huge boost to his legacy as he's closing in on the top 10 ever list.

Perfect example were the 90s (1995) Magic. They made it to the finals with Shaq and penny when they was young. The following year Shaq left. And the magic never made it to the finals again until 2009. Celtics gotta play this game/series like this the only opportunity they'll get with playing in the finals

Curry played great in game 5. He just shot poorly on 3's. His gravity, lack of turnovers and great decisions with the basketball opened up the offense for his teammates. His defense was excellent as well. These guys no zip about basketball. I'd love to get paid millions of dollars with no requirement to have any idea of what I'm talking about lol.

Boston as a whole are still learning, literally on the fly. Just because Boston has made a few conference finals doesn't mean they were prepared to compete with GS. Who has won 3 chips. GS clearly has more experience. Boston is still young, including Tatum.

Man it's wack, Watching Tatum stand around on defense while his guys go all out and then demand the ball and make bad decisions on offense and eliminate brown from the game himself. This finals has shown its not that they can't play together, cause brown on the warriors would be a damn problem, it's that Tatum wants to be the hero without doing the work. I've started to notice his teammates side eye him cause on the floor you gotta give it all and he only does it on 1 end, same with luka..the reason LeBron was able to carry teams like they claim Tatum does is his defensive effort was as ridiculous as his offensive effort, and that's easy to follow.

Steph basically negated a defender all game. He may have shot terribly from 3pt, but he passed well and his gravity let Klay and Wiggins clean up. Does any other player in the league or even on the Celtics that require that kind of defense?
