Part 1: • Stephanie Mills on Pla...
--------
In this clip, Shawn Prez started off by asking Stephanie Mills about Rolling Stone’s list of the “200 Greatest Singers of All Time,” which excluded her, Celine Dion, and others. Stephanie stated that she doesn’t care, and when it comes to Celine, Stephanie asked, “Are you crazy?” Shawn then pointed out that Adele came in at #22, and Stephanie explained that these types of lists are subjective. From there, Shawn asked Stephanie about her thoughts on some of the great Black artists who aren’t able to tour. Stephanie explained that the system isn’t set up for Black artists to succeed, and she added that she learned that early in her career.

the only problem is shes 50 per cent wrong and says it with conviction; she is lovely to listen to; looks amazing; you could still put her in her dorothy costume and get away with it; but actually no humble etc; lying through her teeth on half of it; manipulative self involved narcissistic; doesnt really care whos shes lying on; does it with a sense of righteousness; this is why directors at time loathe actors
@writerdirect

one of stephanies big lies which i dont know if she tells here; but one i heard her say with conviction; michael was going to give all his money to minister farrakahn; which is total bs; michael ( who i developed a project for ) would never leave his money or give his money to anyone but his kids and his mom ; period and minister farrakhan who is a complicated character; a genius who spouts at times racist bs; would have certainly taken the money; michael did not offer it to him and the minister did not turn down the money becauses hes spiritual; and stephanie says both with conviction and both statements are 100 per cent false

If Donny Osmond had dropped Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, HIStory, Invincible, etc he would be at the number one position on Rolling Stone’s magazine, 100% no doubt about it. Michael Jackson shattered the system, sat on top of the world, brought hundreds of millions of people together that they worked hard to keep separate and they have never forgiven him for pushing pop above rock. Yes great bands like Metallica, Guns & Roses and Nirvana persisted but the bread and butter of Rolling Stone magazine was severely diminished and the 80s can be considered a Rock Demolition Decade because pop and hip hop have been reigning supreme ever since.
