@@joeyzapata6786 Both Brady and Jordan careers are great but Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the GOATs no question they both each have more trophies than Brady and Jordan.
Comparing GOATS across sports is a fools errand. These guys talk about this as if MJ and Brady are the two greatest athletes ever, which is a crazy claim.
I mean let’s be real yes Tom is more accomplished but cmon just talking about Tom performance is really wasn’t a goat performance. The rams got out coached. And nobody could guard Edelman I know we all saw how wide open he was every time he got the ball. Go back and look at some of the throws arod made in his Super Bowl it was unbelievable to watch..... I guess all I’m saying is if arod had the type of defense/coaching Brady had it would be a different story. Arod, LeBron and shoot even cristiano ronaldo are. the same in this case.... if they don’t play there teams looks like garbage but when they play their teams are in the championship convo Remember the NFC championship game between the packers and seahawks a couple of years ago. There is no way in the world the patriots would have a melt down like the packers did... and it’s not because of Tom Brady it’s because of coaching and defense. Never the less Tom Brady is as clutch as it gets💯

@@Winterfellen yeah, throwing 1 TD and 3 INTs in the AFCC and SB definitely made the difference lol. just face the facts. rodgers has a better passer rating, TD/INT ratio, and RZ efficiency in the reg season and postseason. all brady has is the horry argument (more rings). where were any of his TD winning drives in the SB? all you see is the game winning FG kicks or RB scoring. this isn't even a debate. brady has the best career because of his coach. his 2.2 TD/INT ratio in the postseason isn't impressive. that's why belichick wanted to get rid of him a couple years ago
I don’t think he said that. But he do be saying some dumb shit. Like kd not being top 5 in the league or taking magic in the last moments shooting the ball over curry
Max never said Lebron was better than Jordan. In fact he has stated that Lebron doesn’t beat Jordan at anything except longevity. I agree with Max that Brady is not in the conversation with Jordan. Brady was a role player yesterday and the first 3 super bowl victories. Jordan was never at any point a role player. He was the driving force to all of his team’s success.
Aren't we comparing apples to oranges? They are completely different sports. It's like comparing Usain Bolt to Serna Williams, what is there to fairly compare? We can have the GOAT for different sports. There is no way to crown one athlete the king of all sports.
Nathan Gold says who ??? maybe to you americans but the nba, nfl, mlb, nhl etc isn't the whole world ... there's other sports as well ... fuckin' hell lol
GOAT of each team sports Michael Jordan Basketball Tom Brady Football Babe Ruth Baseball Wayne Gretzky Hockey Cristiano Ronaldo Association Football(soccer)
Why does ESPN, Stephen A. especially, and now Max, consistently leave out Wayne Gretsky? Both Brady and Jordan fall short of Wayne and the records he set.
The difference between being great in pastimes and being great today is, back then, the great players were adamant about the teams success. Today the quote on quote great players are worried about their own greatness and they're a dime a dozen.
Max's description of Tom Brady in the post season-"Not a choker." How lame. How about calling him the goat for a change. Guy has more Superbowls than Rodgers and Manning combined.
Just because he has more rings doesn't make him better. Bill Russell has more rings than Wilt Chamberlain, but ask any old time and they will will tell you that Wilt was a much better player. He just didn't have the right supporting case.
@@KingGreen78 What has Aaron Rodgers done? Got his coach fired. Brady has been with One Coach his entire life. Brady could have been the richest QB multiple times, turned it down because he wanted a legacy not money. Also Bill was a head coach before having Brady, never won a single superbowl. So what has Rodgers done? 1 Superbowl Victory. Eli Manning has 2, Joe Flacco has 1.. are they better
Ninja4hire You would think that because you’ve never had to rationally think about it. Pele 1283 goals scored is falsified, as he included many friendlies and exhibition matches. His 3 WC his only real achievement. Keep in mind for a second that he never played in the best competition in his time. Even in the late 50’s thru the 60’s and early 70’s, even throughout that period Europe was still the best in terms of club football. No debating that. As they were recruiting South Americans to play Europe even then. Now the 3 WC he won and Messi and CR7 has won none. His 1st he was 17 and clearly wasn’t the best player in his OWN team. He had a great final but didn’t start every game. Garrincha was the real star. Not only was Garrincha the real star in 1958, he was the real star in 1962. As Pele didn’t finish the tournament but obviously still got a winners medal. Garrincha led Brazil not Pele to a 1958 and 1962 WC win. Now for 1970 he was past his prime but still delivered. He played great but not better than Maradona did at the 1986 WC. Why? Because his team was arguably the greatest of all time. Look how stacked that 1970 Brazil team was. Anyways. Pele in Brazilian league didn’t compete with the athletes that Messi and CR7 does on a regular basis. Some players at that time in Brazil had second jobs. I mean come on. You don’t compare Russell to MJ right? Because of the competition. Same goes here. Messi or CR7 is GOAT. Not Pele. I say Messi
Max makes educated and analytic argument but Will Cain always cones at Max because Cain doesn’t do his homework to analyze staff but berate Max . Cain is looking for Max’s Spot
Michael Jordan, Tom Brady Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky are 🐐 but I consider deion Sanders and Bo Jackson the greatest athletes since they played multiple professional sports and were successful at them.
@@The_ch0sen0ne5 more clutch than JORDAN? HAHAHAAAAA he got deuced on twice in clutch 4th quarter moments by Eli and failed, with time on the clock, to produce his own clutch moments in response. Sure, Brady is pretty clutch, but his defense and coach are responsible for at least 3 of those rings. Basketball players go on both sides of the ball.
@@connorsmith6517 That's his point. Jordan went 4-2 every series but the first, where he went 4-1. If NBA finals were best-of-1 format like the NFL, Jordan would have nearly the same percentage as Brady.

@@austinwade5961 Idk about the roster turnover. Boxing and MMA probably have much higher turnover than the NFL. But they are individual sports, with "title challenge" bouts instead of playoffs, so the NFL is probably still harder to win a championship.
Any championship where a TEAM is involved is tough to win the fact that SAS and Max ignore this and act like MJ would win all those championships by himself shows how ignorant and hypocritical they are towards Lebron and Brady Lebron carries his team multiple times to the finals with little to no help from the team and doesn't win and his finals record somehow becomes a factor on why he can't be in the GOAT conversation but when Brady has the most rings and has a winning record in the Super Bowl than the narrative is changed and his rings are downgraded because SAS and Max wanna give most of the credit to the team and act like MJ had it rough when he had Pippen Rodman Kerr Harper Paxson and a coach as great as the Zen Master neither Bradys nor MJs rings should be overpraised or downgraded for such hypocritical narratives both played a major role in those championships while having support from the team and neither could go to a draft lottery team and do the same thing because both the SB and NBA Finals require a team
Kizaru Russia most wanted thank you!!! You can’t compare football to basketball, I’m a slot receiver in football and I’m pretty good at the position. But if you throw my in basketball all I can do decently is keep people from dunking, I won’t score any points.
@@jomelsimonson5279 nope, if anything its debatable for jordan because lebron has been closest to taking the throne, but nobody can touch Brady. 6 rings in the NFl? 9 SB appearances? Thats UNHEARD OF. NFL is the hardest league to win a championship in (most # of teams/no 7 game series) and Brady has 2 more rings than the former goat Joe Montana.... its actually untouchable like a dynasty like the pats and a pleyr like Brady will never be seen again its just facts. Some of the best NFl players of all time never even made it to one super bowl.
Brady not only has accomplished more than any other player alive, he MADE Bill Belichick and created a system unto HIMSELF in New England Bill Belichick as Cleveland Browns head coach 36-44 Bill Belichick as Pats coach with All Pro Drew Bledsoe 5-13 TOTAL RECORD WITHOUT TOM BRADY- 37-60! That’s a .380% “Winning Percentage”. He took Brady’s 16- 0 team when Brady went down in 2008 and lost not 1, not 2 but 5 games 16-0 to 11-5 and MISSED PLAYOFFS without Tom Brady. He’s 37-60 LIFETIME without Tom Brady. WITH Tom Brady, Bill Belichick is has gone to 9 Super Bowls winning 6. That’s 9 Super Bowls and 6 Super Bowl wins WITH Tom Brady and a 37-60, 1 play off win WITHOUT TOM BRADY. This goes to show that there is not only no other QB in NFL history but NO OTHER PLAYER in NFL history more dominant and so far ahead of their peers in terms of talent and skill than Tom Brady. He MAKES franchises, HE IS THE SYSTEM….HE IS THE REASON the Patriots win. All coaches that leave Brady FAIL. McDaniels, Weis, Crennel, Mangini etc. Look it up. And Belichick has never succeeded with another QB. Belichick could only stand on the sidelines while Brady masterfully came back from 10 point deficit to beat the Legion of Boom in the 4th quarter. Or when Brady brought them back single handily from 25 points down against Atlanta after Belichicks D got thrashed. Or how Brady threw for 505 yards against the Eagles after Belichicks D got thrashed again for 41 points. Or How Brady brought them back against the Chiefs…TWICE…. as Belichicks D gave up a combined 70+ points in those two games. Put Brady on ANY OTHER NFL team and the results will be same. Give him Aaron Rodgers team and Brady has 5 rings by now! Belichick? He CANNOT WIN WITHOUT BRADY. Look at the numbers. Period.
rodgers is clearly better than brady though, but brady has the better career because he plays for the best defensive coach of all time (as well as the best OL coach and top 5 OC)
@Brotato Chip this comment is slightly confusing, but I think I get what you're saying lol. Aaron strikes me as the guy who wants the paycheck wont sacrifice his stats so he throws routes that have the lowest chance to be picked instead of the plays he needs at times to win. He also seems like the guy who the glory is his or nobody's. There is alot more than simply being able to play the QB position if this was the NBA I'd agree because one man can carry a team, but it's not and since his single superbowl he just has been putting up hollow numbers. He has a new coach and a few years left let's see what he does. My money is on nothing
raiders10003 rogers is has athlete talent but not as durable because its thanks to him quarterbacks have the protection they do today. But what makes brady great is he can pick apart any defense. He recognizes and knows where he wants to go with the ball and usually has a quick release. Not to mention how every ex teammate has said how much of a leader he is unlike rogers. No drama in N.E. the only thing that was close was when that one dude got benched before the last superbowl they lost.
@Brotato Chip when did brady have an all time great SB run like rodgers in 2011 or brees in 2010? brady has an average passer rating and a mediocre TD/INT ratio in the playoffs. brady throws less TDs, less yards, and more INTs than the aforementioned QBs.

It’s impressive but then it’s kind of also not as impressive. No disrespect to the Brady but in football you can’t win a super bowl without a solid defense. Football is the one sport where you really need the players around you to win a championship.
@Daniel Hill well all the greats take advantage of some sort of opportunity. That's what makes the greats great. Essentially that's what seperates champions from non champions
@Daniel Hill Brady took advantage of his defense's work vs the Falcons play calling. The Falcons played like the game was over, Brady kept coming. Vs the Seahawks Brady did his part to get his team the lead and it was the defense who had to make sure they sealed it which they almost blew it with yet another unbelievable catch like the Giants.
Brian Bishop lol stop it Belichick had a losing record as a head coach before Brady. Brady was leading come backs in big games for Michigan, so stop that nonsense. Belichick almost got fired then the Bledsoe injured happened and the legend of the goat started
No he isn't, been blessed to have the greatest coach of all time and some good surrounding teammates, much much closer to golden state then being the bulls from the 90's, he wins because of team ball and every once in awhile has something in crunch time, Rodgers IS a better qb, peyton manning is/was too. He was the oppisite of brady, best player on his teasm at all times everyone else was shit. they never had any defense, this is all a joke. grow up and do some actual history on sports.
Rodgers doesn't have a Donte Hightower on his defence to make his team blossom. The Patriots have a higher salary cap with more money to give to greater players. Being a small town team, the Packers don't have that. Aaron Rodgers is better than Tom Brady.

Also, MJ averaged 1.6 blocks per game in the 1987-88 season which is absolutely bonkers for a 6’6″ shooting guard. Seriously this list can keep going. This isn’t even a debate. 50 Pence Jordan played for the bulls for 14 years. He missed the finals for 8 of those years. Add the years he played in Washington, he missed ten years. That argument doesn’t reflect well on Jordan, either. Jordan is the all-time difference maker in BASKETBALL. Brady is the all-time difference maker in FOOTBALL. The sports panel mental masturbation comparing the two is asinine.
@@petofi97 I didn't comment on Jordan. I commented on Marc Miranda saying Brady has been the best for over 10 years. Brady has been a part of something that has been the best for over ten years, but the New England defence has been the star in most of them. I'd say Brady single handedly did the business (at most) 5 times. I do agree it is wrong to compare him with Jordan, because the nature of the sports means Jordan had to be great more often. I'm just glad I've lived to see the likes of them, Bird, Ali and Gretzky. Superb.
The argument that 6-0 is better than 6-3 is the *DUMBEST* shit i ever heard. In order to get 3 Championships losses, YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP! Y’all are basically saying it is better to lose before the Championship than it is to lose in the Championship.
ROB Nah. It’s better to be 6-0 than being 6-3. You’re praising second place ribbons and only looking for a flaw in MJ’s 6-0 record when there’s none. If you lose early and also lose in the SB/finals, guess what? It’s still a loss. You don’t get a ring for appearing in a championship game only to lose. By your logic if a guy went 6-5 in a title gm, that would be better bc he went more times than a guy going 8-0....
eazyduzit5150 Okay so according to your logic: It’s better to not make the playoffs than it is to make the championship and lose? I can’t take none of y’all serious bruh. That shit is stupid. Y’all are fucking dumbasses honestly.
Will never made his argument though. And everything Max said was true. Michael was always the best. Period. Tom is the greatest qb ever, no doubt. But there have been tremendous stretches in his career where he wasn't even the best qb in the league. Peyton is the greatest regular season QB ever. Rogers is just the best. Period
You're White and therefore hurt that Max would dare say that the greatest White athlete of a sport isn't even comparable to the greatest athlete of another sport who is Black.
How though? Do you guys just read comments and repeat the consensus or do you have your own opinions? He’s right, Brady in the regular season is usually around 23-30 tds.. 6/7 picks... and goes GOAT in the clutch moments...then you have People like drew brees who are not only clutch but also throw for 5,000 yds and 40 tds yr in and yr out...so it’s hard to just say “HES THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER” based on eye test without achievements but MJ was the best based on eye test AND achievements.. those are FACTS. What did max say that was so terribly wrong? Is it just that he’s not on his knees with toms dick in his mouth?
Get the hell out here with that Steven A. Hey I got breaking news for you, Peyton Manning is coming from off retirement after patriots win last night. Lmao.
The defense, Sony Michel and Julian Edelman were the main reasons why they won. But, you have to give Brady credit. He did have yet another gamewinning drive.
I thought LeBron is the GOAT after he won his 3rd ring? Why isn't Brady being compared to LeBron? Oh, that's right. Because MJ has always been the GOAT for the last 20+ years!
LA Clippers Seriously only like 1/100 people actually think that MJ is not the GOAT... Stop trying to make shit where there is none. Two sports talk show personalities (Shannon Sharpe and Nick Wright), who they need to take that stance because they’re debate shows, and a very small minority of LeBron stans think that MJ wasn’t definitively greater than LeBron. This what I hate about the era we’re living in. Something that a meaningless small minority of people say gets blown out of proportion, and gives biased haters false ammunition. I see you on every goddamn sports talk video, reaching for ways to inject LeBron into it. Some advice- you should try to not be TOO biased against someone, and maybe people will take your comments more seriously. When your bias against someone is this obvious, it only invalidates whatever you have to say. You’re no different than the LeBron stans who can’t admit that their dude has flaws in his resume. Only difference is that you can ONLY discussed the flaws in dude’s resume.
