The media did make that narrative up. Kyrie genuinely feels like he is the best clutch shooter he has ever played with. keep in mind he didn't say best player, he said best clutch shooter. And now that he's with KD he feels they are on the same level in that way. And I actually think Kyrie meant no slight against LeBron. But of course the media turned it into a whole thing. "Kyrie is salty about LeBron, and he's just hating... " Stephen A. is up there arguing about how Kyrie is wrong about the media creating narratives and he gives a story where him and the media created a narrative. No, kyrie is being weird. You don’t get to be in the public eye with 100% locked off privacy. Kobe was the most private guy ever and even he talked to the media. Answered hard questions and dumb ones. Kyrie acts like the world revolves around him. But he’s not self conscious of it at all. Which is the scary part. He’d miss a wide open game winner and probably blame his teammates for not standing back away from him far enough 😂
