That same Jumper you are hating on is the same Jumper that contributed to his team winning a chip. He will do his thing next season and everyone is on notice.
Tatum not finding time in USA basketball has a lot more to do with legacy of the players than his talent at all. He's on the team with 3 all time greats in their likely their last USA basketball appearances, and Tatum could have taken minutes away from Durant and Lebron, but if you asked him, I bet he would say he's just enjoying watching them represent USA one last time. Tatum will lead the team in the next olympics.
I agree. JT didn’t seem that bothered by it when he was benched. Plus in 2021 he won gold for Team USA as the distant second best player behind Durant and earned some respect from one of the best
Wrong, that definitely had something to do with it but imagine if bron or Curry was as inefficient as Tatum was? They would’ve seen a lot less time than they did but really Tatum just didn’t fill any particular role that his teammates didn’t do better. His +/- was one of the lowest during that whole series
Tired of hearing about Kerr not playing Tatum. Kerr did Tatum a favor and probably saved him from tiring out next season. If he was grimy he would've gave him the minutes to his own benefit.
Nah he's worst at managing players minutes😂 They obliterated Serbia by 20+ points the first game they met in the tournament, but he didn't bother to give Tatum some minutes. Also, their defense was worst when he allowed all the MVPs in the same floor.
USA struggled against inferior talent playing old guys heavy minutes and not allowing JT to get into rhythm putting him undeservingly in his most limited role since his sophomore season. People love to bring up his 16 missed jump shots when Curry is allowed to start the Olympics going 13/39 from the field and 7/29 from 3. Curry can go 1/9 from the field and 0/6 from 3 vs South Sudan and not lose any minutes because he has his coach 😂 meanwhile Tatum gets slandered relentlessly rarely touching the court in a limited role
Probably has body makeup on with good lighting on the set lol... Ya'll see anything online and just googoo gaaagaaa over it lol... She's 40 by the way and has aged.
Tatum 25ppg 10rebs 6assist while leading his team in these 3 major stat categories and guarding centers as a wing 😂 if you’re gonna hate on Tatum at least be truthful
Curry started the Olympics going 13/39 from the field and 7/29 from 3. How come he’s allowed to stink it up and not lose any minutes????? Despite not even providing rebounding and defense? Oh that’s right, his coach is coaching 🤡
@@Hopper830 Ok all y'all say is opinions. Curry can shoot bad and its ok but Tatum can't. Luka shot bad in the Finals too but we only talk about Tatum. Ya'll are OBSESSED
I wonder if Ja Morant fully understands the position he was in before his off the court issues and suspension. He was the front runner for the next face of the nba. I hope this makes him humble but hungry.
Keep telling yourself that. I don't think Jayson needs all these keyboard warriors and commentators to White Knight for him. His game and his accolades speak for themselves, and all of this shock and grievance on his behalf is embarrassing.
@@Iconoblasto it’s not my fault you don’t see the OBVIOUS TRUTH. Team USA struggled against INFERIOR talent playing old guys heavy minutes and not allowing JT to get into rhythm putting him undeservingly in his most limited role since his sophomore season. Curry can go 1/9 from the field and 0/6 from 3 vs South Sudan and not lose any minutes because he has his coach 😂 meanwhile Tatum gets slandered relentlessly rarely touching the court and only getting 16 jump shots for the entire thing. It’s not illogical to question Kerr idiot
Here is how Curry and James lined up for the entire tournament: Curry: 89 points, 19 rebounds, 15 assists, 50/48/100 shooting splits, plus-86 plus/minus James: 85 points, 41 rebounds, 51 assists, 66/31/73 shooting splits, plus-84 plus/minus
bro tatum was horrible. saying kerr didnt know what he was doing is you admitting you didnt watch. plus kerr had spo and lue as his assistants its not like they were all quiet the whole time. they came to a consensus.
It’s deserved, Kerr is horrible. Team USA struggled against inferior talent playing old guys heavy minutes and not allowing JT to get into rhythm putting him undeservingly in his most limited role since his sophomore season. People love to bring up his 16 missed jump shots when Curry is allowed to start the Olympics going 13/39 from the field and 7/29 from 3. @@King__Tone Curry played like trash too and was allowed to play heavy minutes. Bron Curry and Embiid were so bad defensively. All these games should’ve been blowouts. I like how you just regurgitate the tired narrative instead of disputing any of the points I made clown 😂
@@LeisureKingLou-jc2re curry's role was not to score a ton of points, yes he was struggling to make shots the few he took but if you had watched the games he was moving off the ball creating open shot and even easy drives to the rim. And most importantly this is probably the last time steph, bron and kd will ever play on an international stage, so this was more about them 3 legends than tatum.
The people that is talking Steven A and my wake up show commentators.
If people really think JT was going to be a Guard with Bron and Steph on the floor that was never happening, he was always going to be sitting at the corner playing catch and shoot
And that’s why every game was close. We were lead by a 40 year old guy who lost in the 1st round with his all nba teammate and another old guy who didn’t even make the playoffs and started the Olympics 7/29 from 3 but was allowed to keep playing heavy minutes despite providing low value on defense until he got hot at the end because his coach is on the team. All this while having the guy who lead the best offense of all time to a championship and was the best playmaker in the Finals in a point forward role on the BENCH because you claim he doesn’t fit lmao. Steve Kerr and anyone who defends him is a clown.
@@LeisureKingLou-jc2re Steve Kerr, Ty Lue and Spo have been made a combined 22 finals appearances, LeBron, Steph and KD have made 20 between them, JT was never getting a main guys role on this team, unfortunately he has been a role player and couldn't make his shots and as for Team USA for that 4th spot they needed someone who was willing to buy into a role. And people say he was the second best player in the 2020 team, have you seen that team, they had Zach Lavine, McGee, Keldon Johnson, Jerami Grant of course he was the second best player unfortunately in this year's setting, he wasn't the second best player on the team so expecting he would be played that way doesn't make sense
@@derrickk6028 yeah all those old guys played and we struggled against inferior talent. Steve Kerr was the final decision maker, adding up their combined accomplishments does nothing to your point when they are way past their primes. I understand everyone wanted to see them together but making JT the odd man out is horrible coaching. And it showed by the ways we almost lost a few times during the Olympics when we were projected to be like 12 point favorites every game. Most of you guys can’t accept that Kerr is overrated with his guard heavy lineups. Bringing up all their accomplishments thinking you did something 😂😂
Facts💯. I have been saying this time and time again... The national media wants Jason Tatum to be something he isn't. He's not that guy and it's ok. Jaylen Brown was the playoffs MVP and Finals MVP for a reason. Tatum is good... but he's overrated. Don't always go by the numbers and just look us the eye test. Jaylen Brown saved Jason Tatum's legacy for sure. If Jaylen Brown was in place of Tatum on that Olympic squad, he would've definitely played. I'm certain of it. Jason Tatum doesn't spot up and shoot well and he take bad shots over and over again... Again, Tatum is good but he's not "him".
@andyj952 Again... Tatum is good and he probably will be a HOF, but he's not on the level of a lot of elite guards and forwards. The national media overhype him so much and his game doesn't elevate and transcend anything. To be honest, he might have even hit his ceiling.
The USA Olympic team should be a roster that makes the best team, and not just a collection of the best players; those two are not exactly the same thing.
I totally disagree. There’s more than three teams that’s good on the east side Boston, New York and Philly, Indiana, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Orlando as well and don’t sleep on Miami
They are complaining about winning. That sounds stupid. They didn't lose a game. I know y'all need to fill the show until week 1 of NFL but that sounds stupid
The tatum narrative is boring and fake. Besides, Kerr telling tatum he aint playing is actually respectful. Just remembered why I stopped watching first take
