No it wasn't. Their team is ravaged with injuries and old age. Klay is useless, Curry was on a bad knee, they have no center to hold down the middle, they traded Podziemski, and the Warriors were exhausted, as is expected, at the end of an extended east coast road trip. Draymond may have exaggerated the scheme by mouthing off too much, but the reality is that he had no other choice, as without a center to guard the paint, JB would have just ran past him for endless dunks. Obviously, Dray should have tried to disguise the coverage better, but the reality is that defensive strategy was the only thing they could do with the skeleton team that they had available.

That's because you don't UNDERSTAND NBA BASKETBALL. The Warriors have been toast for a couple of seasons now. Their last championship was because the got lucky (not knocking luck, it counts more than most variables) avoiding the Suns (DeAndre Ayton) in the WCF, and instead drew a one-dimensional Mavs team, who's only real player was absolutely exhausted from single-handedly beating those Suns, and then getting a Celtics team who also had no center. This season has been a testament to Steph Curry's greatness, and also a final reminder that "time" is undefeated (Steph can still "do it", but he can't "do it" all by himself, by himself he can only do it for a short time, and when he has to "do it" by himself, his body, just like everyone else's body, breaks down from injury from over use.) After that recent Warrior's trade, Klay was "promoted" back to a starter, and lasted a whopping TWO games before being injured. Steph Curry has a bad knee and shouldn't have even played in this game. Add to that the fact that the Warriors don't have a legit center to equalize the game, and that this game was the final game of a 4-game east coast trip, the outcome (not necessarily the gap of the final score) of the game because of the Warrior's injuries and exhaustion, was 100% predictable and has ZERO bearing on any playoff scenario.

They played the fking tanking wizards, injured knicks, and a rebuilding raptors so please spare me on this grueling “long road trip” bs what you mean to say is the one healthy team they played ran them out the gym in the first half and they didn’t even have their 3rd best player. Don’t know ball gotta be one of the weakest counter arguments online but please go on.

Except that Warrior's team had a 7.1 278lb center who stayed healthy thru the finals. Tatum and Brown are basically irrelevant to a championship. If Zing goes down, the championship is gone. If either JB/JT go down, but Zing is still healthy, the championship is a possibility.
