I remember this game all too well. Seeing my favorite team get destroyed by a scrawny kid no one had ever heard of hurt. A lot. Looking back, twelve years and all that's happened later...ehh, it's kind of cool.

I was a freshman in highschool living in Wisconsin. I have always loved basketball and never felt alone when I could watch this amazing game and play it too. I remember watching this with my step dad who is a huge Badgers fan. He would get upset every time Curry scored, but I secretly loved the way Curry played. After the game was over, I shot crazy layups in the driveway pretending to be Curry while Gus Johnson's voice called the action lol. My shot improved from watching Curry in mechanics and motivation. This game changed the course of basketball. Thinking back on this, I love how Davidson used Curry. They had great role players. Richards was an old-school pass-first point guard. The other guys were good rebounders, defenders, and screeners. Everyone played their role and when you have a transcendent player and the greatest shooter to ever touch a basketball you see magic happen.
