Hi Coach Mandy love ur channel content. I am a beginer, terrified of water and when I start sinking. when floating on my back or on my stomach, I dont know the technique to move my hand or leg to get back to the surface. if I knew this, it would help. I have started taking lessons. Please can you create content to address the same. Another suggestion is a video to show how to correct beginer mistakes. for example .. A mock video of sinking when you try to float on your back and how to get back to surface and how to turn from floating on the back to float on the stomach. Thank you for ur superb videos.

Hi CM, I sometimes gulp water and it results into choking, coughing and panic. I understand feeling relaxed is key but can you help me with some tips or probably a video to handle such situations. I think its a common problem with beginners like me. Thanks a ton for all videos you share, it has really helped improve my skills.

Thank you Sanjay for your feedback. I will look into developing content for beginners in the future. However, I can answer your question through here. If you are a beginner, you must always practice in a shallow pool and with a support system on site (i.e. a lifeguard, a swim instructor, etc) If you gulp water, slowly stand up and catch your breath. Once you are able to let go of your initial panic, go back to a skill in the water that makes you feel instantly relaxed. This will help you reset both mentally and physically. The most important piece for learning how to not panic in this situation is that you must execute these three skills: 1) Be able to comfortably and consistently close your mouth when you are close to or when you are fully submerged underwater. 2) Exhale through your nose while your mouth is closed as you submerge under the water 3) Be able to relax and float on your back Once you have master these skills, then learning how to tread water will be easier to practice. You must learn and master how to tread water in a shallow pool FIRST. As shown in my latest video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yZsetei57oQ.html Hope this helps answer your question. Remember safety is priority #1 this will ensure an optimum learning environment for you. Enjoy your practice and take your time with each skill! 🙌✅🏊‍♂️ -Coach Mandy
