Not sure anyone told you this but Steve Perry was called the ‘voice’. One of the best of all time. Check out any of his stuff with Journey. Amazing. Make sure its Journey with Steve Perry. Thanks much for the reaction
You REALLY HAVE TO check out Journey's Escape tour Houston Live 1981. You WON'T be disappointed. In fact, any Journey/Steve Perry songs. This guy is GIFTED!!!
Steve Perry is the vocalist. He was the lead singer for the 70s & 80s rock band Journey. You should check out the whole Traces album. It is. Back in the day he would do what they call “ the Perry spin”. He was a very energetic performer. You should also check out the old Journey videos with him.
That hat is from his time in Journey.... look up Oh Sherrie.... oh and Steve is the absolute master of almost singing better live than in the studio! Honest! Check put the live performance from Journey's Houston session in 1981.... you won't regret it!! You Must've heard Don't Stop Believin'? 😅 I hope you enjoy.....
Steve Perry is idol!! He is the greatest "The Voice" of the rock all times.. He is still old but his voice are good and back to back from Journey but He won't sing old song from Journey Ballard song but few times he sang at the Giants game back 2018 and he heard the song 'Don't Stop Believing' then he stood up ran down the level where the camera show ! Oh when I saw him and he is fabulous singing this song and make chilling in my bones when he sing again!! Steve Perry got Christmas come out early and when you heard sing Silver Bells this is song is very good movement for Christmas Spirit! I encourage you to listen to Steve Perry Christmas album and already on RU-vid and search for him. I adore his voice and just think how grateful that he sound like angel!! Soul voice is chilling me up!! Thank you allow me to share with this comment!!
Check out Steve Perry from the group Journey from 1977-1983. Steve Perry is “the voice”. He is 72 years old now and he is still “the voice”. Best of all time.
he mezmerized me in 1978 when he became the lead singer for Journey and I've never stopped adoring him - one day you need to check out Journey's early Steve stuff....amazing! ♥ and yeah - that was his hat from Oh Sherrie vid which was on his Street Talk solo album from 1984..
What a vocal tone at 70 years of age. Check out the song "Mother Father" when he was with Journey. Steve was considered the voice back in the day but abruptly retired from singing. This video is a song off his new album after being gone from the music scene for many years hence the trending intrigue.
My friend, you absolutely have to do “Mother, Father” (the live version from Texas). That was when he was with Journey. It is an absolute must. Strong, emotional and dark and Steve Perry’s voice just soars.
You were worried about him tripping on the mic wire. You should check out Journey’s video of the song SUZANNE. He does what his fans call “the Perry spin”. He spins once in this, just a little before he grabs his hat. I’m really glad you like his music and voice. I’ve loved it for years There are videos of the whole Traces album filmed in the same studio. My two other favorite songs are”We’re still here” & “Sun Shines Gray”. The official video of “We’reStill Here” is filmed with him in a car cruising the streets of Hollywood or somewhere in California. If you want to see a video with no video edits. He also did that wi “Foolish Heart” when he was with Journey. It was one long take and no edits. You should take a look and listen to enjoy that beautiful voice.
Wow! Thanks for this!!!! A man after my own heart! Love this man! WARNING: Steve Perry is one heck of a rabbit hole my friend! One, you will thoroughly enjoy! He is an amazing artist! I’m sure you heard his other hits as well as hits he had with Journey. I can’t wait to see other reactions to his songs! Please do a reaction to Journey’s “When You Love A Woman”!!! Thanks again! God bless you!
I'm 62.. funny it's only this time I listen to music of Steve like Patience, mother father, wheel n d sky ,what was and other rock songs hahaha I enjoyed and like it
Oh you poor dear. You didn't get to grow up with Steve Perry at the helm of Journey! Be happy! He is a legend. Loved your reaction. Would be even more love if you do more from "Traces." Or just do the 1981 Escape album from Journey when this man was singing lead. Welcome to the rabbit hole!

You have to do a reaction off the raised on radio live your video BE GOOD TO YOURSELF!!!!! It was an encore and it is absolutely amazing true Steve Perry w/ journey
It's not a band, just the studio band backing him up. He was gone for awhile due to illness. (Why his voice is slightly different) His girlfriend of a long time just recently passed away and encouraged him to get back in to music.
You are sorely uninformed when you can't place Steve Perry. He was the lead singer for Journey and wrote or co-wrote all their hits. DON'T STOP BELIEVIN is their most used song. FAITHFULLY is absolutely great. After 25 years of being off he has just returned last year.
I've loved Steve Perry since he was with Journey! He left them for some reason, some say his hip was too bad for touring? This is really my first time hearing him since he has started singing again! He sounds just as good as ever! Check out some of his catalog, there's just too much to list here but you can't go wrong with anything 😎🎶👍🌟🤗!
Hello! Steve Perry was the lead singer for Journey. Please check out journey when Steve Perry sang lead. I would love to see you react to a very old group I loved as a child, song Brother Louie by The Stories. Thank you. 😊
