@@officialgreenson4201 Actually both solos are COMMON work of 4 players. Roth, Vai, Ry Cooder and Bill Kanengiser. Apart from the battle, Roth recorded most guitar parts in the movie.
No matter how many times I listen to this song, and how many versions always delight me again ... It has a special blue color that melts my heart and turns it into liquid gold ... Thank you Steve for that special emotion ...
AYA DEA when you play infront of people that love your work you get in the zone these kind of players are made to play they were sent to inspired to change the world by the lord
Saw him in Stockholm 2016, and you get completely blown away hearing/seeing him play live. Loved his skills since I was 9yrs old. Seems a real nice bloke too.
Instead of an entire 20-hour Tony Robins encouragement course, you have more empowering in these 7 minutes of music. You listen to this shit and you just feel you can do anything. It's amazing.
This is the most beautiful part of my life, this the most beautiful event that i heard, seen, lived . I'm moved by this, this will change my life forever. This is so deep, I can't elaborate in words.
It was mine too, but I just watched this : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZWRySOtRuiQ.html Not many tunes have made me cry from feeling so safe and happy. I think he's been listening to Jeff Beck also, sure sounds that way.
On Bass is Philip Bynoe, he is awesome! Steve has also had Billy Sheheen & Stu Hamm, and has employed many other talented musicians, Phil is my favorite.
Absolutely phenomenal performance and despite I’ve seen him play this tune some many times over the years, Steve always manages to impress me with the variations he makes at the outro.
He's like John Bonham. He's not even an artist. There's an old South African saying that describes this perfectly. It goes a little bit like this. "Ik sal kakken op jou graf als Ik sou kick myn dog off his mum in a jiffy."
shannon porter Definition of the best is silly. There is no such a thing. No one can do everything. Guthrie is amazing. So is Vai. But Vai is a far better at composing. When will Guthrie create such a masterpiece like this one?! Never.. He is too much into fusion shredding style..
Genial!!!

I am glad that Vai lived the golden age of guitar music in 80s. Bieber, on the other hand, would probably sing in his grandsons kindergarten at this age.
Great for the ones, that have the chance to see him face to face in a small club. More atmosphere. Beeing in an arena is like watching TV, just louder. No "contact" with your star.
@@gskelton2937 I see the similarities but it's hard to figure out how you respect Kingdom Come when they were even less subtle about ripping off Led Zeppelin, who were quite brazen at ripping off others themselves. :S
@@gskelton2937 most all of rock and roll has been ripping off blues musicians for decades, and they rarely give credit either. There's a reason Tom Petty never got butthurt and sued any artist's over alleged copyright infringement. The Beatles did it, Led Zeppelin did it, the list goes on and on ad nauseum. You can deny the song but there's no logical way to deny the talent.
Steve Vai I hope you're still alive you can play a guitar my favorite Stevie Ray Vaughan but you would kick his butt I hope all is well in your life and God bless
Sometimes its more than showing skill. Dude in a personal setting made you, one of the best guitarists of all time made you look like the role you played in crossroads. Devil's hand
