John Wormley He hasn’t won it. So he doesn’t have it all. Being an ex-player, doesn’t mean you win it, when the team you’ve played for does, after you’ve left. So, he doesn’t have it all, and never will do.

John Wormley Where did I say he wasn’t a great player? You said he’s got everything, he hasn’t. He’s never won the league. If you’d said he’d had everything as a player, then I’d agree. A fantastic player he was. But, back to the original point, he doesn’t have everything.

yes definitely. Dunno why Eriksson, McClaren and Cappello were so fickle in deciding Lampard or Gerrard. For me to say, either one, play Lampard and you can't play Gerrard, and vice versa, that simple. So much time amd talents wasted, when Roy Hodgson finally decided to build a team around Gerrard, thats too late, Gerrard was getting older and no longer in his peak.

I never forget that last goal, I watched the game, it was a very intensive game in the world cup qualifications at the time. Stevie G didn't even make the World Cup team that went to Japan due to injury. Stevie G vs David Spice Boy Beckham, who is who? I would take Stevie G ANY DAY MATE!

In 2004 the great Zinedine Zidane asked Florentino Perez (president of Real Madrid) to get Steven Gerrard. He tried twice. In 2009 Zidane said. At his peak Steven Gerrard was the best player in the world. Who are we to argue with Zidane? He was right of course.
