Men! I took urban planning class back in school few years ago, and sadly, theoretically, the perfect concept of urban planning (pedestrian, public transit, cars) will be challenged in Canada landscape and cities. I believe there should be a balances of both investing in public transit and roads. Don't be a nerd. Be practical. It's why I love Calgary urban planning so much, because the city balance well between the public transit and roads. Literally everywhere you drive, all the highway and freeway intertwined and intersected each other. Other hand, bad urban planning would be Edmonton. They solution is putting a highway around the city. Period!
