i thought the same too in a seperate comment in the last video. Steven inherited heart(self) from his mother and continues to inherit heart, whether that be love, identity/self (as Rose Quartz), passion and all manner of emotions from everyone around him. And being that he can also inherit **through** Heart, i would say he has used his aspect time and time again to inherit friends and acquaintances through his raw, unfiltered expressions of Heart. Everybody, even his initial enemies, comes to love Steven in the end, inheriting their heart. I think even Rose (from Homestuck) herself said once that an Heir is supplied with what is needed for his maturation (what is needed being his aspect).

Heir also works on the story level as well! I think there's a line you can draw between John's refusal to accept how damaged and traumatizing his life has been, and Steven's breakdown in Future about how he can just keep fucking up and fixing things and nobody will ever have to know -- it's the vibrant denial of not being able to deal with/cope with a scenario that is self-enabling and repeating, because nothing is wrong, and if NOTHING'S WRONG then nothing needs to be fixed!

At the beginning of the story the seer is always "outside" of their aspect, so to speak.

Rose's voidy interests are just the manifestation of Void, the aspect opposite to hers. And neither Time nor Space have anything to do with societal norms. That's Blood, Rage, and maybe Void, if OD's analysis is right about the Gnostic darkness and Equius.

I'm thinking Maid of Light for Peridot because of her self driven curiosity coupled with her arc about breaking from her old worldview that stifled that desire to learn. For Lapis, I'm thinking Witch of Void. Couldn't tell you why though.

Maybe Lapis is Rage? There is a lot going on with her negative emotions and anger.

@@DeathKitta True, but negativity doesn't necessarily mean Rage. All of the aspects can manifest in anxious ways. I'd say Void more for Lapis because of the sensory deprivation she suffered inside the mirror.

Sardonyx is a maid of rage in the suffer and a seer of hope in the inside,performance is part of the ragebound and she is definitely dramatic and over the top,but she is also very aware of other desire,wanting to help and improved other.

Lapis is a witch of breath,peridot a mage of void,jasper is a bard maybe of rage or heart and bismuth is a heir of blood. In my opinion.

I think the classpects in that art are quite accurate and you did a great job at fundamenting them. However, I can't stop thinking about the possibility of Steven being a Life player. Not only does he have healing powers and is deeply empathetic, but he also has the conflicting relationship of a legacy weighing down on him, as well as the never-ending impulse to help or 'fix' others pushing him towards bitterness when his needs aren't met. I think earlier Steven is more heart-bound, with his arc revolving around identity and who he is as opposed to his mother and what he thinks people expect from him; but his life aspect-attributes grow as the show progresses and specially when we get to Future.

@@sofivear There is no connection in Homestuck between Life aspect and fixing or helping. It is connected to physical healing, but mostly because the Jane (and by extension Nanna) have creating classes, and create Life.

I felt like Jake's pesterquest route was somewhat flawed in its execution though. like, mainly, when Jake is manipulative, he'll do it in a way that keeps people from getting mad at him, but ultimately I think he succeeded in frustrating MSPAR more than any other character that they met, and to me, that outcome seems like it would be pretty avoidable if Jake had really wanted to avoid it. in homestuck, I generally find Jake to be really likable, even if I know he's doing something to give his friends the run around, because ultimately he's just trying to deflect negativity in a naive way. but in pesterquest... well... okay like, for example, when MSPAR confronts him with the idea that his friends treat him badly, I feel like Jake would've tried harder not to let MSPAR come to that conclusion in the first place? he'd present them in a more positive light from the start, defend them against accusations that they've behaved poorly, or deflect conversations about how they might've fucked up things in his life by talking more about benign things, like his isolation, or the monsters on his island, if he really didn't want to talk about his friends' shortcomings. because he's failed to deflect in such obvious ways, it makes it seem like he was actually fine with talking about this... but then the way his longer route ends doesn't make much sense. why start deflecting at that point, after he'd already brought MSPAR neck deep into thinking about this topic? he's already created a situation in which MSPAR is frustrated with him. and now he's basically deliberately put himself in a situation where he has to be overtly stubborn, which is what his manipulation of others is supposed to help him avoid the discomfort of handling in the first place. I'm not saying his route is bad... it just has some clunky areas that kind of unravel it for me a bit.

@@loregoblin3854 Jake isn't actually that good avoiding those topics, though. Even back in act 6, he'd mention them all the time and it just wouldn't get delved into because everyone he knew treated it all as just normal. Jake maybe knows it's uncomfortable to talk or think about in depth, but he still mentions it in passing because it's so normalized in his life that he wouldn't think not to. Jake isn't some master of deflection, he's just surrounded by people who are willing to pretend he is and let his clumsy deflections work anyway (or, in the case of Jane, people who are just totally self-absorbed and clueless). MSPAR's presence is totally unfamiliar to Jake. They're the first person who's been in physical proximity since his grandma died and they have a different perspective than anyone else, but not a naive one like Calliope. Jake wouldn't even think not to mention things that are, in his mind, totally normal and MSPAR is both savvy and determined enough at this point in PQ to drag info out of him and figure out the situation. But Jake really is just very determined to stay in his comfortable delusions. That's the part he's always actually been good at. It doesn't really matter how obvious the truth is, even in his own words. Jake's manipulations are way clumsier and more direct than you seem to remember.

@@extantcadence2707 see, I feel like that kind of depends on which topics specifically you're referring to... and I think Jake also has some awareness of his audience. like, yes, he is surrounded by people who are willing to believe certain things about him, but I think it's more accurate to say that they're willing to believe that he doesn't fully know what he's doing half the time. for example, in Jane's case, this is because she has a crush on him... she lets him get away with stuff that she might otherwise call out as legitimately crummy behavior. she let him tell her about his boyfriend problems for a long time after they entered their session, even though she found it really irritating and frustrating, which set a precedent for Jake. he learned that he could say this stuff to her, and she generally wouldn't react badly. he's only dense in the sense that he doesn't realize how frustrated Jane is getting... he either doesn't notice it because she is masking it, or does notice it and pretends not to out of convenience. it may even be some of both. and for Jake, this also reinforces the notion that Jane is a good friend who has totally gotten over any feelings he suspected she may have had for him early on. in this way, his delusion is fueled by a grain of something that he genuinely hopes is true. and the reason he complains about Dirk is because, in a way, he is trying not to seem culpable for his own problems... Dirk may legitimately have his own issues, but Jake isn't looking for a solution when he talks to Jane. it's not even really her place to find one. he's looking for someone to pat his hand and tell him that everything is alright. and he does all of this, whether he explicitly realizes that this is what he's doing or not. there are a lot of areas where Jake does this kind of halfway believing thing... he wants something to be true, so he pretends that it is, until he actually halfway believes it. and that means that his friends halfway believe that he means no harm by what he's doing. Jake isn't a mastermind... but he is someone that people emotionally don't wish any harm on, and he complicates things for them by being equal parts manipulative and genuine. the thing with MSPAR is that I think the writers didn't have a long enough amount of time to set up what they were going for with that whole scenario. MSPAR comes in, a total stranger to Jake, and starts saying stuff about how Jake's friends aren't being very good to him. now, Jake has expressed misgivings about his friends to other friends of his... but it was always on his own terms, and to an audience that he was familiar with. if Jake tells Jane that he feels like Dirk is overbearing... Jake decided that that was the case by himself, and he knows the kind of responses that Jane tends to give to stuff like this. he knows that she won't actually think less of him, or of Dirk, just because Jake expressed a concern. but MSPAR comes out the gate already being kind of critical, and kind of implying that they're here to actively change something... MSPAR believes that this change will be positive, but change isn't always what Jake wants when he vents. like I said before, half the time when Jake would vent about Dirk, it was to get reassurance. MSPAR isn't exactly a reassuring presence here. and I guess what I'm saying is that if Jake was going to react to MSPAR's suggestions the way that he does by the end of the route, then why wouldn't he express those same reactions all the way back at the beginning of their conversation about these things? Jake doesn't know MSPAR, and wouldn't be _more_ comfortable entertaining these notions at the beginning of the route, rather than at the end when he actually starts deflecting the topic. MSPAR's opinion doesn't change throughout the whole thing. their thesis statement is: "your friends are making bad choices and engaging with you in harmful ways" Jake's position doesn't change either though. his position is: "my friends are fine actually, they don't have to change what they're doing, and neither do I" or at least, this is what leads him to say all of the things that frustrate MSPAR by the end of the route. but why not just say that at the beginning and then pick other things to talk about? even if MSPAR kept trying to drag the topic back, it still would've led to a far different route than what we got. all of that being said... all of this is just my opinion, and I'm not trying to be like "you're flat out wrong!" with this... I'm more just trying to justify my own viewpoint on stuff, like, I'm not trying to make Jake seem hyper-competent here, but I don't think a person would have to be hyper competent to keep someone from criticizing their friends if their true underlying goal was not to have to criticize their friends. even via ingratiating methods.

I can see her getting along with Gamzee.

Quote seems like a hope player to me, given his determination (same goes for the Undertale folks). Madotsuki is definitely a doom player.

For mute characters (Quote, Drifter) it's hard to say because we don't get to see what their personality is like

She is clearly a breath player,maybe a knight.

Page is basically a combination of those two classes.

I see her a a mage of void. 1-In the start She speaks about the greatest of homeworld that by nature is void. 2-When she gain sight,she see the true void nature of void and as prophet,speak about it. 3-she have knowledge about technology,mechanic and computer coding,like equius,horrus,roxy and sollux,(3 of one are void players and one is a mage). 4-she is also Into shipping like meulin.

Considering kairi is literally connected to light in every way, shape, and form, I disagree with that list. That may be more her nobody, namine. And even then...

I think he's going to keep mistaking the page as the active class until he realizes the page's accociation with horses.
