Honestly the animation is fine some of those “mistakes” are really ways to make things smoother.

The "mistake" on Spinel's eyes isn't a mistake, and for Steven, that's what animators do when the character is far.

Eyes are pretty small so its difficult to draw them on small head without making it too oversize. 3:30 - its already BEHIDE her -.- how can it yeet the weapons?! If its behide her and bismuth is pretty strong. 5:57 - shes suppose to be goofy? And peoples are suppose to laugh at it? Since its goofy?!??!

Spinel is supposed to be crazy, cartoony, goofy, and weird. It’s like that for a reason! Also her voice acting is perfect.

0:01 that was intentional it was an animation technique used in the 1930’s for toony characters for an example Mickey Mouse. She actually has the Mickey Mouse effect where her hair (the hearts) are always facing the audience.

If they are less detailed, that's the same thing with anime and Steven Universe, if you view the characters from far away, they would not be fully detailed, it actually makes sense.

Number 4 is incorrect. That windmill thing is higher than the weapon, it's up to us, the people, to realize so. It is clearly portrayed like that.

Some of These aren’t mistakes it’s a form of animating. It was on purpose.

The movement of spinel is suppose to have motion blur, that's why some frames look like they have mistakes but it's suppose to be there.

Why did you complain about an "animation error" (the 'sloppy' Steven drawing) despite it clearly not being an error? Steven was not meant to be focused on so his character was drawn out of focus. Its purpose is to make you focus on spinel, not Steven. I don't understand why it is such a problem and why you had to point it out. Plus, you said this wasnt a problem yourself... I also believe spinels eyes popping off her head was for cartoony effect. Spinel is animated like a Looney toons character. Very exaggerated features and she acts very cartoony. This effect was definitely because of spinel's animation style. The windmill is also clearly large and high up. Which is just so annoying you pointed out. I honestly don't see what you're getting at, it didn't look like it was about to take spin's scythe out of bismuth's hand. Also the filler is so overdone your video. Its just painful to listen to you rambling.. i was seriously just bored throughout your video. I agree with your other points, but Jesus. Some of these I don't get.

Steven from the away shot when he looks "like a kid drew him" If you haven't noticed that's something done purposely because it's the art style and has been done throughout the show since the first season. The animation is perfectly fine. It’s called animation smear, plus Spinel is based off of 80s cartoon characters which had a lot of animation smear.

The eyes popping out of her head make it look more smooth I noticed too but I think it makes it all look so much more smooth but it also adds to her theme of being very based on old timey animation with no bone structures.

So I’m here to debunk every “flaw” you picked out... 6- in all fairness this is a legitimate mistake that I myself am responsible for making as well. 5- this was a STYLISTIC CHOICE!!! That’s it... no one is going to draw the most detailed image of Steven from far away, which you mentioned. But using an anime, a completely different medium from a CN show is not very reasonable. 4- this isn’t even an error, it just perspective... 3- I’ll give you this, you got me... but don’t list it as an animation error when it’s a placement error... 2- again, it is a stylistic choice... sure, smear frames can help the movements of a character or object, but this can be done a number of ways... Bonus- in the movie she is shown to flip her gem during her transformations, but this could in fact be a mistake... also, don’t blame overseas animators as the source of the “wonky animation”. 1- where’s number 1!?!? It honestly scares me when someone in the animation community calls out these stylistic choices as mistakes. I could be wrong about some of these but I just recommend you do a bit more research before making a video like this...

You know, Steven Universe has a different art style from anime.

This was genuinely the worst video that could be made in regards to “animation errors”. The majority of the “animation errors” are not even animation errors. This is simply just you ranting about what parts of the movie are “sloppy” or have “continuity errors”. The Spinel eyes thing is deliberate as a call to 1930s animation. Spinel is MEANT to look goofy, the crowd in the concert was rather bad but yes, the gem error on yellow diamond and Spinel is genuinely an animation error and I can agree in regards to that. If this video was made regarding actual animation errors, there would be a lot less in here, as well as the video length being a lot shorter, however it would still be stretched to 10 minutes for the sake of getting that sweet sweet monetisation. I’m not trying to hate, however I would like to express my genuine concerns regarding this video as civilly and as professionally as I can.
