One of his victims Georgina Zweni was my Aunt💔💔💔 That woman raised me well, i was about 4years old at the time of her passing. I remember digging the ground as a child and putting fruit pieces saying I'm feeding my aunty💔. I understand his circumstances were difficult as a child and drug addiction contributed in his horrific crimes as they help numb emotions hence he had no remorse, as i am a social worker working in substance abuse treatment currently. However, its difficult as a family to sympathize with him...i hope my aunt terrorizes him every day of his life into the after life!

Thank you for telling us your story. I’m sorry for what you and your family have to go through x and I hope that there is a tiny bit of justice with him being in prison for the rest of his life, not that that will ever bring your family back x

I'm so sorry for what your what your family has endured, I hope it brings a bit a of closure that the person who so mercilessly took your aunt also had his freedom taken and can do nothing but remain haunted everyday

This was truly heartbreaking to read. In an attempt to humanise these killers, we often forget about how our utterances of their humanity and their struggle can negatively impact the very people they hurt, adding further to their trauma. I am truly sorry that your family had to go through this and I commend you for taking action and being part of the solution to end the cycle of alcohol, women, and child abuse in this country. In February 1998, serial killer Stewart Wilken, also known as “Boetie Boer” was sentenced to 7 life sentences, having raped and sodomised, then killed by strangulation, two distinct victim types, female prostitutes and young boys. Many of these children were street kids, with no homes, no parents, no supervision and no one to report the crimes or follow up on them going missing. Wilken was known as a highly unusual serial killer, as he killed boys, prostitutes and even his own adolescent daughter. His killing spree lasted from 1990 - 1997 and his modus operandi geographical area was Port Elizabeth. Mr Justice Chris Jansen at the time, stated that Wilken would have received the death penalty, had it still been available to south Africa. “Boetie Boer” was feared in and out of prison, as he would kill again, even while in prison. He further stated that rehabilitation prospects for serial killers are nil. “Boetie Boer” admitted that the rapes were carried out as “raw sexual aggression,” during which he allowed himself to be guided by his fantasies and other stress related factors.

What he did is horrendous! By telling how he himself grew up and how he was treated explains why he is so crazy. When he was just a child himself, no one was there for him. He then grew up with so much hate and resentment. By doing the same things that happened to him, makes hom feel better but he truly knows the pain he is inflicting. Then gets aroused by that.

Such a very sad story and even though no one can condone what this man did it's understandable...especially the murder of his daughter. So very, very sad. So many broken souls among us. My heart aches for the victims and perpetrator who started as a victim himself.

That was informative, I knew this guy was plain disturbing. Is why it took me so long to watch this one. But well done again. You presented the unpalatable facts in a human way. Is kind of dignity for the victims. In my eyes. He was a victim too. But in no way no how does that mean he is ok. Yes. A death penalty for him, even though I am against that, I think it would have been best in this instance. Thankyou.

An interesting story. The most disturbing graphic parts were you doing your make up on screen. could you not have found a better time to do your makeup?. The story was great, but I got distracted by you constantly fiddling with your face
