I am in AZ and just ordered some 15" rims, 29" TSL's and 1" spacers for the back, for my Honda 1000-5. Some of the places we usually go have been really rutted from the rain last year, and the fires the year before. The extra height should help plus, the TSL's are DOT rated (I should be street legal). Now, if I could figure out how to get it street legal when we go to our home in Florida, I would have "it" nailed.
Do you have any durometer readings for any other KRX or any given sxs's? Knowing the durometer is awesome, glad you measured it. I'll have to steal my shore A durometer tester from work to test my.... shit, nevermind, I don't have my Tensor Regulators anymore as I traded my XP 1000 in for my KRX. But seriously, if you be so kind as to check durometer on your friends' rides and report back? Be appreciated. Unless the stats are given on manufacturer websites, but as you suggest, they'll inflate readings anyway. Not that harder is always better. But I'm like you, I'm about to throw down for some LT's. Sick of sxs tires going so quickly. Willing to sacrifice some performance for some longevity.
