I have a straight carb version, ported, it is my favorite saw. Awesome power but the ergos of it fit my body I suppose because it really doesn't feel that heavy.

Exactly like mine, but ive gone from the straight shot to a bark box. Its a big boy's saw Chews and spits wood like no other

Is this better than the egan foam filter that fits under the stock cover. Personally I dont like the black cover with the Maxflow on a 500i
