My grandma's sister had Alzheimer's. And this is exactly how she behaved. Especially towards the end when Alice was being asked question by her daughter. That's exactly how it went with my grandma's sister. It's painful thinking about it now.
from a family who suffer an hereditary link to Alzheimers, I really think learning a musical instrument and playing regularly is one of the best defences
Alec Baldwin is good in this, but he's not really mentioned in connection with it. Definitely, .... it's like choosing how you want to die? Nibbled on by Piranahs or gobbled by a great white shark? Cancer or Alzheimer's. I guess, if I had the choice, I'd go with Cancer. There is a survival rate with cancer, if they catch it in time. I had early breast cancer and all I ended up with is a dented boob. I can live with that. Losing your mind to where you are dependent on someone more and more, just to get from the living room to the kitchen? To make sure you don't leave the tub running or the stove on. Yup, give me cancer...if that's the only other option. I don't think I'd wish Alzheimer's on my worst enemy.
