❤️ "Stir-fried water bamboo shoots with shrimp recipe" Ingredients (Serves 6) - Cooking with Fen & Lady First
💛Main Ingredients:
Water bamboo shoots: 4 stalks
Squid: 100g
Shrimp: 140g (approximately 10 pieces)
Garlic: 4 cloves
Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
Cilantro: 1~2 pinches (optional)
💛 Seasoning:
Salt: 2g
MSG: 0.5g (optional)
💛Main Utensil:
Chinese Wok
❤️Directions:
1. 00:44 Cleaning & cutting ingredients:
- Pull the body of the squid out from the middle of the shell, remove the internal organs, clean thoroughly, and cut into appropriate sizes.
- Peel and devein the shrimp, clean the liver and pancreas, wash thoroughly, and set aside.
- Trim off the green parts of the water bamboo shoots, remove the outer skin near the root with a peeler, and cut into appropriate strips.
- Finely chop the garlic and set aside.
2. 05:17 Sautéing seafood:
- Sauté the garlic briefly with a little water in the wok, then add oil (olive oil recommended).
- Stir-fry the shrimp over medium-low heat until they change color, then add the squid.
- Remove the cooked seafood from the pan and set aside.
3. 06:42 Stir-frying water bamboo shoots:
- Add about 100cc of water to the pan, stir-fry the water bamboo shoots over high heat, and cover the wok for about 1 minute.
- Once the water bamboo shoots are cooked, add the seafood back into the wok and stir-fry briefly.
- If using cilantro, you can add a little while stir-frying.
