A stitch in the ditch is a sewing technique where you place your stitches inside a seamline, for example, to secure a facing or a waistband. The aim of the game is to place the stitches precisely in the ditch (along the seamline) where the two pieces of fabric meet so that the stitches are invisible.
This can be a frustrating or soothing task depending on how you approach it and my top tips should make it the latter!
