Literally this is my life right now, endless wedding crafts and no time to make more interesting videos! But a lot of you have been asking for an update on how things are going now we're (less than) three weeks out, so here you go!

Low-effort video go brrr! Seriously though thank you for all the lovely messages and well wishes, everything is sort of starting to come together now I think and a lot of the major stressors are sorted out already so all we have to do is turn up on the day, try not to die of embarrassment, sign some stuff then go get drunk. Should be fun 😆 Cross stitchers check back over the next couple of weeks because I have a super cool unboxing video coming up for you!

OMG! Your kind words meant so much to me. Thank you so much! It was such fun to see your wedding planning coming to fruition. I hope you’ll share a photo of you in your dress. You are not the one supposed to be doing the thanking in this scenario! I'm so excited to pick up more bits of felt at the weekend and get all my projects set up in the new frames, eeeeh (literally just did a happy clap irl even just typing about doing it 😂), I know I've said thanks a thousand times but here have one more. Thank you! Thankfully the new yarn turned up today and it's close enough, which is more than I'd hoped for lol. Now to get knitting!

Ah thank you! I've been working hard on learning how to human female for about 2 months and honestly, learned a ton lol. Probably not enough to look truly believable on the day but hey, it'll be fun to laugh at the photos 😅

Thank you! I wasn't sure if the bouquet was going to look cheap at first but honestly I'm excited to have something that I can keep and won't just immediately wilt and die! Plus, there had to be some crochet in the outfit somewhere right? 😄

Ah thank you! Yeah there's still lots to do but it's the fun stuff now so I'm not stressing anymore. Just gonna enjoy it, finish what I finish, and buy last-minute versions of whatever doesn't get finished so we can move on with our lives 😆

Those shoes and flowers are fantastic! :D Also, that's awesome that Dave is helping with the flowers. We did a lot of DIY too, including my wife constructing the bouquets while I worked on the table decor. And on that note, be prepared for the last two or three days before the actual wedding day to be utter chaos. I know it was for us. The worst thing that happened was the suit rental place lost my groomsmen's attire and refused to believe me that they were flying in from the next day, so no they could not have picked their suits up without me knowing. I may have been terrible and shouted a bit, but eventually the manager found them. Anyways, it all worked out and it was very lovely day. I hope yours is too. You definitely deserve it. :D

Oh wow that sounds so stressful! We just dropped his suit off to be dry cleaned yesterday so now you have me thinking about everything that could possibly go wrong there lol. I want to say we won't get into too much of a last-minute panic because what we're doing is so small but who am I kidding, I can get into a panic over just about anything 🤦‍♀️

My hair is exactly the same but with the added bonus of being very fair ( was platinum when young but at 53 is now silvery blonde ie grey). Also one side holds a wave a little more than the other so, on the odd occasion it get a 'do', I end up with a line down the back of my head with one side bed head the other like I've ironed it. Love when hairdressers say 'I'll just do a quick blow dry to finish'...... 35 minutes later half my head is dry. Sure you've experienced the same thing. Good luck with everything. As long as you and Dave are happy who cares what anyone else thinks. It's your day and it will be beautiful and memorable. By the way the make-up look today is fabulous.

Oh my god yes I feel so seen! Honestly I've not been to a hairdresser in years and years because they just have no idea what to do with it, I've had actual PERMS fall out on one side within a week lol! So far the plan is just to become more dry shampoo and texture spray than woman and hope 9000 bobby pins is enough 😅 And thank you! Every day we inch ever closer to a makeup compromise haha 😁

Aaah so exciting! I spent the whole video thinking "I really like your hair and make-up" haha, super believable human woman! 🤭🥰 The flowers turned out super cuuuute, and I loved seeing you two work on it haha! ☺️ It must be stressful 3 weeks to go, but you're doing so great despite the unexpected setbacks! ❤️🎉 I indeed still cannot wait to see the dress but I am sure it will be worth the wait! 😍

Did you hear nothing I said? My dress tastes are not fancy please don't get your hopes up! 😂 Definitely getting the hang of this makeup malarkey now, at least in the sense that I've found out I like breaking the rules about how much black eyeliner you're "supposed" to wear. Learning new things, fun times!

Your bouquet is cute! And the shoes are perfect! I feel you on the yarn purchasing. The colors are never quite what they say. What fabric did you use for your dress mock up? The drape is lovely!

Ah thank you! In some good news for a change, the new white yarn turned up today and is actually right so I'm VERY relieved. Just need to knit the whole thing, now! The bodice mockup you saw is just literally a thin cotton bedsheet for the base layer, and then some random see-through purple polyester that I bought 10 metres of by accident when it was 50p per metre and had no real use for until now. With it being so thin it's close to the drape of my "lace" so was perfect for experimentation.

When fabric is on sale like that you just have to get it! I'm always buying remnants or sale fabric for "just in case" use lol. I'm glad the white yarn is the color you were looking for. It looks like a project you will be able to knock out in no time! You've got this!

Love your channel! Thanks for the updates and sharing your talents! I have an intermediate beginners x-stitch question that maybe you can answer. I don’t have anyone local to learn from. I am starting my first really complex pattern, where lots of little color areas (a handful of stitches each)are intermingled. At the end of each little area, should I be tuck the floss under to properly finish it, or do people tend to “jump” it across to the next area of that color? I have been able to be strict about this in my first projects, never jumping more than one square but I wonder if that strictness is overly obsessive and unnecessary. Thanks for your work and advice. Enjoy your wedding!
