Been playing with these for about a year now. Durability has held up incredibly well. Faces and bases are both the same color as they were when they started.
I think this is exactly how i would've reviewed these clubs. Thank you for the time, effort and thought you put into creating this video. I look forward to watching more of your videos
@@elliottkent9037 still holding up. If you end up in sand traps a lot you will get some wear. Mine still look almost new, despite the fact that I can be pretty rough with them on the range or even the course. For the price it was a great investment for someone like me.
I'm a new golfer I've been looking at new clubs instead of these hand me downs from my brother in-law and been looking at reviews your review really helped me decide for my first brand new set.
If I was starting out I would’ve gone with these. I started and still have my Stratas, they’re a good starter but after seeing this review, Stix is a better option
So.. I just ordered a set today.. PGA tour Superstore had the 14 piece set w/bag for 799. ( and free delivery) .. waiting for them and hitting the range.. cant wait
I got excited hoping they would have the +1 option there for that price as well but they didn’t 😂 I will definitely be buying one of these sets for sure
They seem solid, not a fan of the driver though, Local topgolf knockoff place has them to replace some of the uber cheap clubs they use. I do want to give the other clubs a shot though. I use the kirkland stiff driver and it's awesome
I@@John-jt6elI'm not OP, but I'm on my second season with mine. Absolutely love them. I have replaced the putter and driver, primarily because I wanted to. (Putter was good enough but found something I like better, and driver...well, everyone wants a shiny new driver!) For the price, I literally have zero complaints. Sold the putter and driver to get a little back. Literally probably the best purchase I could have made as a new golfer, as I'm still super happy with them as I've gotten a LOT better.
@@haydensullivan6659 I haven't had any issues with them, I went with the silver irons instead of the black options because I knew I was going to wear them down, but I'm happy with the entire set, I wish I went with a more forgiving shaft but I'm still working my way to becoming a scratch golfer.
I wish they offered a steel shaft option. I see too many people complaining about graphite across all brands. If you never, *ever* hit fat, graphite works fine; but I haven't met a weekend warrior yet who doesn't regret buying graphite and hasn't broken at least one.
They recently came out with steel shafts. I remember asking them on their facebook page like a year ago if they planned for steel shafts and they said it was in the works...and here they are delivering
I own a full set and love them but i do hate the fact that just after a round or so they are scratched up being painted instead of the stainless steel.
Hi! Amazing video! I am planning to buy this, I have been playing for a month now, only with irons still. The question I have is what shaft flexibility should I use in the configuration? I know it depends on my gameplay... but the default is 'stiff'? Or should I go with 'regular'?
I’m stuck because i I have a ping eye 2 set and am looking at buying these because I found a full set of irons and wedges for 320$ would this be a good deal?
I'm a fairly new golfer. I've always been good at most sports but golf kicks my butt. I love it though and could care less how good I play compared to others. I appreciate watching someone that honestly isn't a super low handicap. So much more encouraging. Great video and review.
I bought this set last year, and I've taken them to the range about 30 times. The irons/hybrid are excellent. They are light, and the center of the face has a TON of pop. When you juggle/bounce a ball on the short-irons, and you hit the center of the face, WOW. The ball just GOES. But the driver is very weak, (only goes 20-25 yards further than the 4h) and the putter (for ME) is simply TOO HOT. You will send a LOT of shorter putts wayyyyy too far. I'd recommend just buying the irons/hybrids, and get a different putter/woods.
Don’t buy these clubs, I bought the set of irons and the 7 snapped the head off within the first two weeks. It was not replaced because I put my own grip on it.
9 out of 10 is not the equipment, it's the operator, if your swing is shit, then you will be playing shit golf, with a great golf swing, you will be able to play great with a rake and shovel....
