I usually game on my computer, I have a ryzen 5 5600x and with stock amd thermal paste my CPU can get up to 90 degrees celsius. Should I add aftermarket thermal paste?

Your temps are way too high, with good paste you'll cut a couple degrees. I recommend purchasing an aftermarket cooler.
