pratham is a very good driver, thats why later virtus won in rolling. But hands down verna is faster, even at top speed. I saw verna doing close to 230. Virtus cant compete with it.

I've said multiple times that nothing and no one can beat the stock engine tuning of car manufacturers bcos no local engineers or mechanics can compensate for the manufactures rigorous R&D process
verna is commendably quicker, but all of us can agree on a very obsvious thing, going 200kmph, everyone would much rather be in the virtus than the verna. Its a different question about fanboying for the germans, and something different about appreciating each cars capabililty.
thats what happens when you get your sophisticated german machine remapped from a local tuner , ahlawat got his virtus tuned for the sake of clout chasing ( just to claim the first virtus to be tuned ) from what i can see , its a poor ECU & TCU tune, the car is shifting poorly , it hasn't been dynoed to make this power gain claims , because there is no way it would have lost if it were making 180 hp , and the disadvantage DSG in launch , is compensated by extremely quick shifts , which your new TCU remap wasnt doing - A dissapointed virtus gt owner and a fan
The 1.5 engine of vw hasnt been unlocked yet, none of the tuner has been able to unlock its ecu. I dont know from where they tuned it, i have the slavia 1.5
Bro. Stock virtus used to perform better than tuned one. Stock is always better than tuned ones. Tuned specs did not match performance at all. Maybe tuning is not properly done. If you are not satisfied with performance of virtus don't go for tuning, look forward to other German cars
Germans have higher torque band which results more power in the top end. Hence virtus will pull better post 175-180kmph. Verna has greater torque which is mainly confined to 100-170kmph thus it pulls better in that range. The reason for this difference is that there is no speed limit on german highways hence cars easily go 200+ there. Hence instead of having greater torque and confining it to mid range, germans flatten the torque curve and put it in the top end while the koreans have designed it for asian conditions where we hardly go above 170.

Both Pratham's and Alhawat's Virtus are not well maintained especially the Ahlawat's tuned one. He tuned it from a local workshop which in result turned out to be DSG not working properly. Both of them rash drive their cars and they're not gonna last even for 1Lakh KM. They just can't let their ego lose against Verna Turbo. That's just it. That's why Pratham sold his Virtus and bought a VRS so that his ego doesn't lose against any Korean Car Company. After watching this Verna vd Virtus Drag Serial, I unsubscribed your channel. These are evo engines with high compression both 1.5 and 2.0 gen3b which are on sale in india I own both slavia 1.5 and superb 2.0 tsi. My superb can go upto 265hp with downpipe , intake mods with stock turbo but requires a premium fuel 100ron is preferred to avoid engine knock due to pre ignition. If i change my engine head with chhb engine it can produce 380hp as some tuners did it in europe. Even audi s5 ea839 3.0 v6 is also a high compression engine. Where as the 2.9 v6 from rs5 is a low compression performance engine. Ea 888 gen3 , gen4 are the real monsters in the tuning world with low compression ratio. There is no engine which is as tuner friendly as a ea 888 gen3/4 engines which can easily touch 480hp with forged rods, hybrid turbo , intake , hpfp , lpfp , injector upgrade on 97 ron petrol and absolutely smash stock 340i and also match stage 1 340i in 100-200 timings. For all the people fighting about german vs korean they need to know its about the tunability of the platform as german cars have enormous aftermarket mod potential. But the hyundai, mahindra and all other cars have close to zero mod potential as no one really writes the remap software for those cars.

The European era of cars is no more dominant, korean manufacturers make better cars for the price. No other manufacturer makes better CRDI than hyundai/kia. VW diesel is not at all close to hyundai engines. Just the cost cutting and light weight body of the cars bring them a bad name. However, the higher segment of VW cars are really great but comparing the entry segment, hyundai/kia has no comparison around the globe
