@@thechimneyman-uk yes pal I have downloaded this but none the wiser . It came off easily enough by angling the grate but can I hell get it back on . Sweep coming out in a few weeks so I’ll ask him if I ain’t managed it by then . Thanks .

Actually having looked at the manual again I think the exterior section on the rod (the section with the hole that the tool hooks into) may screw off allowing the rod to be attached to the grate first then fed back through to the outside . I’ll give it a try at the weekend .

@@pd71cleck put the bar back on the centre grate. Then drop the centre grate into the main gate putting the riddle bar through the hole in the stove body. Then make sure the centre grate is sat flat. I'm. Assuming you unscrewed the end off the riddle bar to take it out?

Not sure exactly sorry. I just keep a few widths of 3mm thick flat rope in the van. You could always call Stovax or see what the parts list on their website suggests.

Hi. I've a stockton 5 mf that is not burning well or giving out much heat into the room. Experimenting with various fuels. Question. How can you identify if there is excessive flue pull/draught coming out of your stove?

@@siraidanofmayo7678 hi, your local sweep or Stove fitter should have the necessary equipment to measure pressure within the chimney. Or it could be an issue with the stove. Your local sweep should be able to check over the stove.
