That’s why women need to date 4/5 guys at the same time (I’m talking about DATING ladies, not “sleeping around”). Cos we get attached to men too easily. We need to date multiple men and OBSERVE ladies, and see which one of these men does THE MOST for us, and INVESTS the most (time, money and effort). Ive chased twice and it just builds their ego and ure seen as someone who will always be available OR they end up never initiating anything. I agree with this sentiment 1000%. You hit the nail on the head. I learned this earlyyyyy and it wasn't even from real relationships. Some men will just take cause you offered yourself, not cause they actually want you. Almost like samples. You just try it cause people are offering you/you're hungry and the product was there for free. I'm in my 40s. Another thing is this will be natural. You will realize all the pursuing is happening. It won't feel robotic or like u r looking for all this. Love feels calm and assuring, lust feels rushed and with all these over the top emotions. When you feel relaxed and secure with someone, that's what should trigger butterflies. I now friendzone every last man who approaches me but let them openly know I'm feeling them. Then once we've built a real friendship without all the fake stuff that sometimes comes with courting, he can ask me out and spoil me and do everything he's been waiting to do. In the friendship phase you can find out if you actually vibe or not.The problem is people are catching feelings for people who they aren't even compatible with, then when the man realises you're not for him, he distances himself which he has every right to do. Women do it all the time too. I've seen so many women in the comments act like a man is doing something wrong by going distant. It's a social norm that we only don't like when it's happening to us!

I'm guilty of always chasing men and end up rejected. I think Breeny has a lot of good advice to weed out timewasters. Unfortunately for us women its the mans Intention from the beginning good or bad thats ends up hurting. He can pursue you for the longest time and if his Intention was bad he will dump as soon as he gets what he wanted or leave if he changes his mind.

Ladies sometimes if a man pursues you it`s 'cause you`re convenient. An example of this is when he cheats on you and chooses you over the side, he doesn`t necessarily choose you because he loves you but because you give him the right supply. I was once the side chick of this guy who to this day is still cheating on his girlfriend, he does it to a point where he`s not afraid of losing her because he knows she`ll stay. She`s convenient because he gets to continue cheating.

Oh my word Breeny, this is such confirmation! There's a guy I'm speaking to and I feel like right now I am carrying the communication between us. So I pulled back and then he apologised saying he's juggling work and school, but honestly my guy is inconsistent again. This video has made me realise how I need other forms of relationships in my life that aren't just romantic. I'm in a massive transitional stage in my life.....I'm 32. Changed jobs 6 months ago and FINALLY found a career I want to persue. However I have no friends as I got rid of my old friends because I just couldn't relate anymore. Only family I have is my toxic Mother who I've not lived with since I was 23 (who lives 150 miles away thank god). I was texting an old colleague of mine who got back in touch with me a few months ago. But he just wasn't that into me. I would love a relationship but I know it ain't happening until I've truly levelled up and completed this transition stage. The issue is so many women see the bare minimum as them "chasing". Women these days won't flirt, make themselves available, or make their intentions clear for fear of looking 'thirsty' or like a 'pick-me'. Nowadays. women seem more concerned with what their female friends think than about actually being in a relationship. Instead, many women do their hair and makeup and like one Instagram photo of the man they're interested in. If he doesn't get the telepathic hint then he's 'not masculine enough,' 'not the one,' 'probably DL,' 'or not the ONE'. By the way, those are ALL real statements that I have heard from female friends, family members and colleagues about the men they're interested in/were interested in. They're all single. One of them ghosted a man because she found out he used a loofa to wash with in the shower. It's just unrealistic expectations and the idea that a man will find THEM...even if they're just sitting in the house.

PSA: Never chase a man unless you are an Alpha and want a Beta. If you want an Alpha you need DISCIPLINE. Letting a man know you're interested is fine - chasing is NOT. Always be kind, fun and polite so a man knows he can approach you - this is very important. Men are human and get shy too. But once he knows he can approach you.... it's his job to make a move. I've been very forward with men and tbh they will take anything thrown at them. I captured their attention in the start but what a man *wants* will always be more important than what's in front of him. Once approached by a guy don't play silly games - that's the compromise. Making the first move is dangerous because what man wouldn't give a pretty woman attention who likes him? They are fickle creatures obsessed with sex and female attention. It will end in tears when they get bored and realise that they didn't even like you but were along for the ride. You may get lucky and he could genuinely grow to like you - but it's such a gamble. Men waste time more than women so it's a dangerous gamble - trust me....I've wasted years being "the forward one"

Well, I think there is nothing wrong with approaching a guy first. Especially if the guy likes you and he needs a little push. I think the problem is when he doesn’t reciprocate the energy or fails to initiate taking the relationship to the next step. If that happens, I don’t think you should chase or cling on to a guy like that. But there is nothing wrong with going for what you want.
