There are millions of people for differing reasons are Unable to run outside in the morning and it is also frequently not sunny outside in the morning... so let's move on to something reasonable that will work for all!
You don't have to run....just go outside and sit with your eyes closed facing the sun....or the light. I have had major sleep issues for the last few years, and the cooler temperatures first thing in the morning and closing my eyes and facing the light for 15 minutes or so, really helps me feel better, give me a better mindset, chases the blues away, and energizes me.
Nothing works for all, this health journey is about finding and adapting what works for ourselves, and adjusting as things change. I live in Oregon temperate rainforest and there are still Sun rays even if it's cloudy. We have high skin cancer rates high for the same reason, people think they're not getting sun exposure.
Mark, I love your videos but you do interrupt your guests A LOT. Valuable arguments/information often get lost when a host interrupts a guest's train of thought - creating a new tangent while what the guest was about to share might be lost forever...
You should live in working class households at the moment. Many of us can't afford to heat our houses. My bedroom is at 4 degrees at night. I find it very hard to warm up, and find it too cold to sleep. This is a reality for lots of people, and I live in a very moderate climate in Ireland. So try to study the real situation most people live in. Make your research relevant please.
I empathize with you and your countrymen. My HVAC has not been efficient for several years and I complain when it's 62°. But your situation is not the norm. Especially here in USA.
Oh my!!! My heart goes out to you! That IS REALLY COLD! I live outside Atlanta, Georgia and our winters are quite mild, often the days are more like spring. However, our summers are our toughest season to deal with, instead of winter.
I came because of the cognitive decline thing but since I can't find it I'm not going to spend an hour on useless information and a lot of blah blah blah. I quit
This conversation is speculative gibberish. There is no evidence for any of the points in the conversation. Maybe Mark has a supplement that could inject some science in the video.
Referring to his weight training struggle, I’m 63 and have been on a low carb lifestyle for seven years, I went full carnivore 5 months ago and now it’s never been easier for me to weight train. I’m putting on the muscle and have good body definition.
I love how these videos tell you that they're going to tell you something important and then you notice it's an hour long. just give me a five or 10 minute video please
@DogFiles You can always go to "more" under the channel name, click it, and then look for Show transcript. It will show up to the right of the video and you can scan it for the parts you want to know about. Sometimes I just copy it and paste in Notepad to read it so I can skip some of the "gosh, you're smart" stuff which helps them converse, but drags out the listening for me.
My grandmother had Alzheimer's disease, she lived on 100 acre cattle ranch, my great-grandmother had diabetes then dementia, also lived on a farm. Neither did any structured exercise, even though both active and got sunlight. I do not know the depth of their diet. I am now older, so trying to stop this with me.
I would love to hear discussions about reactive hypoglycemia (non-pharmaceutical) in general and also specifically how intermittent fasting affects people with reactive hypoglycemia and regular hypoglycemia
My friend who worked as a department mgr at Walmart worked 60 hrs a week under those horrid lights. She was stressed and depressed, couldn't sleep, and eventually died of a strange cancer.
So. Really enjoying this video. Sitting in front of an open fire . Room temperature 14.5 C (58deg F). With thick jumpers and throws we are really quite comfortable.
As they say here, 20 minutes on exposed skin is plenty. Some say 10 minutes. Sunscreen after that is advised. People who’ve gotten skin cancer have had FAR more exposure than that.
My understanding was it is people that don't get regular sensible sun exposure than get badly burnt when they do that are more susceptible to skin cancers. Of course it's only on of many variables that contribute to them
2000 IU of vitamin D would be way too low for a huge segment of the population. a conservative estimate would be 5000. Many people need 10,000 and more a day.
That why those homeless that cooked their food, not using drug, VERY healthy. Not fat, but healthy. They really need help to get out those poorly living conditions
I agree with several comments below, please keep pertinent info. within a 15 min. time frame or tell viewers at some point, 45 min. let's say, you will give an organized conclusion of all the main points as well as any meds., supplements with dosing that recommend. You did a great job of bringing so many helpful, diverse healthful topics to the public. Thank you so much! Wisconsin, U.S.
Have been following both Max and Mark for over 2 years. Also love Dr. Bredesen. Amazing work all three are doing to bring awareness in preventing this horrible disease.
New Hampshire getting ready to pass Hb 1700 banning the skies over New Hampshire from being sprayed its time to get out of your basement.@@blackmcbain3145
I appreciate the info and how hopeful this is to the ever increasing number of people getting horribly ill from ignoring the health benefits from the items discussed. I have improved my health by doing these things in the last few years where i feel better than ever now. At 71 i look forward to the next few decades
