Seems everyone is pissed cause you thought it will be a good idea to waste 30 secs of time in which no extra info is provided other than what's mentioned in the thumbnail
I'm a doctor myself following gluten free diet which includes siridhanya from 7 years since my medschool and it doesn't have any side-effects effects on my health also recommended many , including parents , They following that religiously, No effect!!!. The health side-effects you posted above are related to certain conditions ,Just do ya research before posting video. 😁
@@vinodrocks1 please dry roast flax for a few seconds before pulsing it to powder. That's how you can help your body break it down. Besides, it's important to combine flax with liquid for better absorption of nutrients. Otherwise the seeds just pass out of your system without benefit
@peace346 I have started millets since 6 months. In these 6 months I have lost 12 kgs (74 to 62). In these 6 months, I also have left tea and reduced sweet foods to 20% as well. Also started running and workout since 2 to 3 months. But i have lost my muscles as well I think. Not getting if I am doing anything wrong. I have also heard that u loose ur muscle after millet diet and gain back after a year or two. But could not find much reliable and detailed information regarding muscle loss due to millets. Please let me know on this. Thank you
@@vinodrocks1 that's true.. Even my dad has lost muscle mass as well as weight on a millet diet. He looks weaker than before. He has been advised to use millets sparingly.
That's the reason I try to make millet atta at home.. After soaking whole millets overnight and then drying to powder... You may add curd to the flour to remove phytates from millet atta
@@healthfoodfitnessRavneetBhallavery informative just wanted to know can it be powdered and then soaked overnight before making a porridge using same water or it won’t help ??
@@priyapereira28 no dear, the purpose of soaking millets is to eliminate anti nutrients and make nutrients bioavailable. Then you discard the soaked water. How will that work with millet powder? The powder itself will run down the drain. Not possible with powder.
Thank you sir ! "Millets and Madhumehtak Churna have a low glycemic index, so they don’t spike blood sugar levels like other grains. Great for diabetes management!
Perhaps you didn't check the whole video..it has given in-depth detail and then tells you to stay tuned for the next video in the series .that video is already up
Hello ma'am...agr market se direct ragi flour le kar khane k liye use krte hai to kya usse v poore nutrients nhi mil paenge...ya phir isko over soak Wale process se hi use Krna hoga???
Market se better ghar ka hai dear.. Ager ghar ka bana sako, usmei better results milenge.. Market mei jo atta milta hai wo millet ko soak kar k nahi banaya jata.. Usmei nutrients hazam nahi hote ache se body mei
Soaking millets, discarding the water is the right way to eat millets and gain multiple benefits. This helps reduce phytates and make nutrients more bioavailable
You are absolutely right Madam, I was using the soacked water and my health issues like uric acid increased. Nobody tells what you tell. Respect fir being innovative and courageous! ❤
@@rituparnadas2416 thank you dear. I wish you good health. I will work on a fresh video , though I have a detailed blog on why soaked millet water should not be used
@@healthfoodfitnessRavneetBhalla thanx for the info about throwing water.. very useful… could u also share the link on the way it should be Consumed as u mentioned below
U need to soak any millets in water for 6 to 8 hours to get the full benefit of easier nutrient absorption. Soaking them for a minimum of 6 hours helps in releasing phytic acid , which has both antioxidants and anti- inflammatory properties. This in turn helps in easier digestion, increased energy level and feeling full for long time as well.

Haha.. You ought to understand the message in my videos. Nobody tells what I share.. Everyone shows a rosy picture of things but there are pros and cons of everything. You cannot generalize things.
One imp question .., we make ragi jawar aata to make roti etc so do u suggest soaking overnight n then sundry n then give ur at the mill for grinding ??? As they also come under millers ..
Absolutely dear.. You must soak and then Sundry millets or grains or just about any legumes, nuts, seeds before turning them into flour. Always do that.
I am from north india, we have been eating wheat and rice only from the beginning. Now i am thinking of taking benefit of millets. I dont know anything about millets, can anyone help me with detailed information how to do that?
I am a North indian myself and have recently shared a probiotics recipe with ragi. Start with that. It will be easier. On top of that, the benefits of eating fermented millets will help improve gut health, digestion and immunity. If you are used to drinking lassi, you can easily adapt to this version of lassi. Y
@@healthfoodfitnessRavneetBhalla i am 26 year old male, and i do workout daily and weigh 82 kgs. I need a proper heavy meal made up of milllets instead of wheat or rice and i am thinking k i should not fully shift to millet diet, and instead add millets diet in lunch only. Please suggest a recipe like millet chapati or something similar. Would be thankfull🙏
@@beingsimple5533 if you aim for weight loss, then you may shift to a millet diet but if you want to include millets for their multiple benefits, then you can start one millet meal. As a North indian, chapati is one of the easiest to include in our diet. I have shared rahi roti, jowar roti, whole millet roti. You may choose any. Go with ragi roti. You may substitute rice with millets and make lemon millet, tomato millet, millet pulao, millet fried rice.. Millet upma.. The choice is yours.

You have no option if the flour is store bought. But alternatively, try getting the flour milled yourself after following the procedure. I do that many a time. I even grind it at home in my mixer. The grity Or coarse textured millet is rava and the sieved ond is flour.
Hay man tell to the world how to eat and advantages . What is your opinion on millets . Millets must sock for 6 to 8 hrs, why because it is fiber rich food, fiber helps to eliminate our diseases.
this is why you eat other foods like steak, that way if the phytic acid binds to the minerals it doesnt matter because you are getting alot of minerals, phytic acid also has benefits
I don't eat junk dear. I eat whole food, including millets. These videos are for raising awareness so people can learn to eat the right way. After all, they are making right choices but are not aware of the technique to optimize the benefits.
@@healthfoodfitnessRavneetBhalla steak is junk food? i can probably work 20 times harder than you... 20 times more useful to society... you stick to your little diet made for weak societies
I watched this twice. Wirh the music & lyrics your message is totally lost. I felt it was an important message you had, but you didn't get it across well.
I only have ONE advice for people. If u have SUGAR problem, avoid congee of millet, rice, everything (soup consistency) BUT if you consume fruit juice or congee WITH almonds and certain nuts (before or eating congee) it will control sugar level stop from crashing. But if you can't consume nuts with congee, also have sugar? then avoid it. Otherwise millets can NEVER cause deficiencies in people. It's fake clickbait. Eat millets, vegetables, pulses, all in moderate. Too much of one thing is always bad. Another thing, for vegans/vegetarians, millets are best in protein sources. Especially quinoa. I myself tried oats and all that stuff, HATE it, it's not easy for indians to adapt to oats, but millets are easier to include in diet.

My dear, the video shows it all.. It warns you against the wrong way of eating millets because that way you don't get Any benefit. Soaking is the best way to activate millets and reduce phytates.
What's wrong with the information. You don't have time to watch the full video . Merely looking at the thumb and responding rudely is not right. The video speaks facts if you understand
In what capacity are u stating these things? U aren't any nutritionist nor a doctor, in ur profile itself u have written take advice from doctor. Also, if u gathered some knowledge from google put a link up there instead of roping people into watching ur reel like a tv series, agle episode me raaz khulega
The video does not say anything that requires discussion. It's all about eating millets the right way. It only says that unless you eat them right, millets are of no use. The right way is to soak them fir at least 7-8 hours to unlock their potential.
