I wish I could do those fake sweet packs. When I do, i sleep horrible and wake up the next morning with a pounding headache. I usually NEVER have headaches. I finally figured out that it was the crystal light and skittle water packs. When I eliminated them, I went right back to normal. Sad 😢.

I grill like 10 lbs of chicken at once because i hate cooking every week so i reweigh after I cook and divide by the original weight to get the percentage. I then write the percentage I got on the freezer bags and store it all in the freezer so I don't have to cook every week. Say I got 60% Then if I need 6 oz of chicken I know that my actual weight I should be grabbing 6 x .6 = 3.6 of my frozen chicken. Kind of extra but a hack so I can grab whatever amount I need and not have to cook all the time.

I am a certified sports fitness nutritionist- sometimes when you have big weight loss it’s mostly water. That happens with Ketosis and with excessive weight loss but it can happen with small amounts too- it’s like your body hits the kill switch to stop you from starving and then the next week your metabolism will release. It’s called a plateau

I always tell people the Grandfather Clock swings back and forth rapidly but the pendulum never moves any further than it does on its first swing. The river flows slowly, chipping away at slight bends in its banks steadily but surely and, over the years, they become great curves!

LOL NOOO that’s not how it works. You think they would forget about them? Absolutely not! 😆 You have to be request to be invited. They decided they didn’t want to compete, so they didn’t request an invite.

Hi Question - in figuring out caloric deficit... Let's say you eat 1000 cal/day for a nice round number, to get into a caloric deficit you literally need to do like 1+hr of cardio to burn those 1000 calories? Understanding that just 'movement" burns some of those calories (TDEE). Thanks for clarifying! (Yes I do track macros and alternately wear a fitness tracker device to get an idea of calorie burn. My systems tell me I am in a deficit, but I want to make sure.)

There is no possible way to answer that question without knowing the heart rate of your cardio. Although not impossible, it would be very unlikely you’d be able to burn 1000 cals in one hour. You’d like have to basically sprint non stop to do that 🥴 My rule of thumb when I don’t have a heart rate monitor is 100cals burned for every one mile that I run (not walk). It’s not precise, but an estimation.

There’s also the evolutionary aspect: when we have low blood sugar, our bodies are designed to crave high sugar foods but those foods in the past were berries not chocolate bars! Not much harm can come from impulsively stuffing your face with berries from a bush but definitely from junk food!

I used to love the biggest loser and I remember the “second week zero loss” thing happened all the time! The best was the challenges.. so flipping cruel 😂 you can eat all this to win this cash but you’ll probably not lose weight… the aim of the game savage mind games 😂

I think you misunderstood the story that Adam told. The girl spit out her food and collected it in a bag not to experience the taste, but as an experiment to see how much extra food she was eating. It is weird I agree, but it’s not that serious lol
