Good friend, but please note kerosin is not advisable to clean chain, diesel is far superior, because diesel itself has a light lubric content included. ( infact this light lube effect of diesel helps to give smoothness in CRDI pumps of diesel cars). Lubing gear oil 90 is the best than lube spray. In Kawasaki service centres Delhi, they will not touch Kerosine. Iam not an Automobile Engineer, but experienced and learned a lot from different level working Enginers from Tamil Nadu. Prakashan. Dude let me tell you...keep this as a learning lubing your chain with gear oil will easily melt down nd fling off your chain...so you need to keep lubing your chain very 50 to 100km.....why there are chain lubes available in the market which will with stand water proof nd viscocity like a gum....while on high speeds your chain will get hot also on long rides, at that time the lube will help to flex the chain nd from friction and rubbing...thus makes sure smooth rides for every 300km intervals lube, to maintain a good chain for close to 22000km you need to maintain the chain in proper condition...good luck

Never use grease to lubricate chain ; if you did so, too much soil and mud will stick to chain , it becomes loose too quickly and reduces chain & sprocket life.
@@muhammednaijun Sprays like WD-40 comes with dry lubricants like silicon, PTFE, graphite. They keep chain very clean and repels water, but does not last long on fast moving parts. Oil will be a better option for chains.
Kerosene doesn't cause rust bro when the chain is wet and then exposed to air then it will rust. Diesel is also a good choice. Keep in mind that most of the sprayable chain cleaners are based on kerosene
@@motov5213 yes ur right, But when u use raw kerosene only this rusting comes in the picture. Lubricants are ok cz there are mixing other chemicals too.
