Dillot2k, great video, nice content. In short, because I could take three pages discussion the topic. The question is what is Art? It's an expression, creativity, something deep from within...something you see or hear. Commercially, we tend to not think something we see or hear is good until a value is added. For example, we go to an Art exhibit or museum and see a painting hanging on the wall...inside we do not see what the artist seen and do not like it; someone comes along and say, hey that's worth $20M all of a sudden it looks good. Or we all have experienced this...a song come on the radio from a producer that is new or trying something new with an artist and inside we say, I don't like it...the radio keep playing it or others keep saying it nice...soon we bopping to that same beat in the car or the club. We have lost creative value in our art because we wait until someone say it's good or of value. It doesn't matter, art is the expression of the individual not the ones viewing or hearing it.

I was just telling my wife that I don't give myself enough credit. Because I think as a live musican/session I'm the weakest link. But this album I'm a part of the people who are involved are impressed with my work. I would do everything in one take. On my way home I noticed that when I'm tracking for myself it takes me all day but when I'm on other projects where money is involved I get it one take and their satisfied on the floor take.

When people say their music isn't good enough, it probably is pretty good, and better than they're willing to admit. Most people who are relentless with spamming like, "cHeCk OuT mAh FiRe BeAt BrO!!!" - along with a slew of unneeded emojis, are the people who should, and probably will quit. Good. Making music to be "good" by the mainstream's standards is kind of like becoming an artist to paint exactly like another, simply for financial gain. Sure, there are tons of people who look at music as a quick and easy way to get paid, but they quickly realize how wrong they are... that is, unless they utilize trends and normie people, copying like the hack copycats they are, and then failing miserably when people find out how fake they are. The Grammys is just a way for rich, pretentious snobs to congratulate themselves for having more money than your average human being. F**k 'em.
