Welcome Shiny, Crafty people! Tim Totten here with sewing projects you can do yourself!
This fun project is a little bit more advanced than my last two store-bought quilt hacks, but sometimes it's fun to step up the skill level and see what stuff we can make with a basic store-bought quilt!
Using a store-bought quilt means that for just a few dollars, you can have a customized tennis racquet bag that holds a few racquets AND some other tennis supplies, like balls, new grips, and maybe even some sweatbands!
To make this fun coordinated tennis bag, you'll need the following:
1 Store-bought quilt (I used a king-size Walmart quilt that cost $29.95 and this is the second project we're getting out of it!)
Scissors or rotary cutter
Straight edge or cutting grid
Lining Fabric (I used nylon packcloth)
Zipper
Thread
Velcro
Sewing Machine
The next videos in the series of Store-Bought Quilt Hacks will cover bread baskets, casserole dish covers, runners, storage cases, and more!
