These stories from East Texas are my favourites on your channel. I can really tune out & into them better than anything else for some reason- maybe because they are like old fashioned tales I’m not sure but I love them 😎🌈✌️

I used to work on a ranch out here in Silver City, NM. One of the jobs we did was riding fence, no one likes riding fence, and we were in trucks. Ranch work is some of the toughest, never ending work you’ll ever do. Another good story, brother.✝️👍🏻

I actually took inspiration for this story from a buddy I used to have that grew up on a cattle ranch down here in Florida. He had some weird stories from his time working it (not this one, of course, but some weird ones).

I said it before, you have a great voice for the campfire tales. I always feel like I'm sitting around the fire with you while you tell the all your stories. It really feels like you are recalling memories. Absolutely amazing narration as always. I am never disappointed. 🎉

You definitely have real talent as a writer which is why so many other narrator’s tell your stories! This 1 though is on a different level in my opinion- you have worked everything in so convincingly, just as if it really was a story told at a camp fire about something that the main character had truly experienced years before! Simply told in a forthright way without any extra drama!! ♥️💯👏😎✌️

Thank you, Erin! It's funny, but I never even thought about the fact that my voice sounds like Sam Elliot when I do the gravelly Texas voice until after it had been mentioned a couple of times. I'm so sorry to hear about your pup 😢. They become such an important part of our lives and we sometimes forget we only have them with us for a short amount of time. I know it's devastating, but be strong. They'll be with you forever in your heart. My thoughts are with you.

I haven’t finished it yet but you kind of remind me of Twain. Not so much in content (lol Huckleberry meets what’s in the Fog) or even in writing style but in the amazing way he had with words. Word craft? Story voodoo? I don’t know what you would call it but you have it too. Epic.

Living in the Piney Woods on the edge of the Big Thicket national reserve, I can tell you that it's one of the most concentrated areas of unexplained phenomena in North America. But it's the Piney Wood Rooters you really gotta watch out for. Pass right by you and open a femoral artery before you know what happened.

Are you talking about wild hogs? If so, we've got a ton of them down here in FL as well. Dangerous and extremely damaging to crops and farmland.

Escaped freak, exotic and dangerous beasts never before seen by the human eye, shifty rides and attractions that seem to swallow ppl whole? Hi Ben. These are both original stories I wrote. I took inspiration for these from some stories a buddy of mine used to tell me. He worked a cattle ranch for a lot of years in central Florida and had some strange stories. There will be more in this series coming, so I'm glad you enjoyed these!
