I think that there are still a lot of other uncovered cutscenes in the game. What do you guys think? 🤔 If you like this type of content, please consider subscribing, we are really close to the 1k mark 🎉
I say you cover the rest of the content on the next few videos it might help you grow some more to hit that 1k! congrats on closing in on that milestone.
@@mickeywitheblicwell atm these are the only "know" unreleased cutscenes that have been found. There are like 2 more cutscenes that I didn't show here.😅 I assume there are more cutscenes like this, but have not yet been found while data mining.
Seeing that Hashirama and Madara segment that was clearly an homage to the old Ultimate Ninja games on the PS2 and knowing that it was cut hurts my soul.
The mask break being cut from the game was such a massive loss. I know the Storm timeline is already confusing enough with parts of Storm 3 still being canon to Storm 4 while other parts are forgotten, but it's such a lame scene when presented in still images from the anime.
Storm 4 isnt the only game where CC2 had to cut content. Go to take a look at Naruto Storm 1's gameplay trailers. There were so many scenes and fights on diff maps that were removed. I wonder what the storm franchise coulda been if CC2 had the chance to go all out on each storm installment. I wonder if storm connections was supposed to be better than the storm connections we got. Only time will tell i guess.
I don't know how widely this is known, but storm 4 went way overbudget which is one of the big reasons they had to cut so much. I'm glad that they made the cuts they did for the most part. I think they still managed to deliver a fantastic game.
CC2 saying they had to do steel frames from the anime because they "didn't have enough time" is a poor ass excuse. If they didn't have "enough time," could they...ya know...DELAY THE DAMN GAME!?! I'm so sick of developers using that excuse. Especially now that we live in a day of age where developers can update games through the internet. If your game needs more time, GIVE IT MORE TIME! Hell, CC2 did it once before. Storm 4 was originally suppose to release in August 2015. But they delayed it to February 2016. Because they said they needed more time. You THINK they would have taken that opportunity to add these remove scenes. And again, if they needed more time, then push it to March, April, May, November or 2017, I don't give a damn. I'm not a video game developer, but if I was, I would take my time with the game I am developing, and put as much time as I can to make sure everything is excellent. Of course, since the anime was still in filler territory at the time, these fools had no choice but to animate the last few moments in the final arc. And if the anime was done at the time, I can guarantee you, they would have used the entirely of the anime's steel frames. AND BOOOOOYYYY!!! Storm Connections proves my point there 😒
Actually i think you're wrong here. I think they tried to finish the game before the anime finished for one of two reasons: 1. It would be the first time the finale is animated and that would be a novelty 2. Companies only release games to promote things. And if the series was over, stupid higher-ups would immediately predict its faliure. (Proof of this? Sure. All you need to know is that bandai tried killing dbfz because the anime wasnt active while it was out. ArcSys begged them not to kill it, telling them that a game can be a game and not just a promotional vessel, while ALSO being its own source of income. They reluctantly let it live, but im glad they did)
wow so storm 4 just needed some more time in the oven to cook. they released a unfinished game fr & it’s sad to say but greed & hasty publishers are probably to blame. We all know & it’s sad to pretty much see it confirmed.
Written September 24, 2024 Many of us who grew up with NUNS don’t have PS3s anymore or this game on that console. Even if this is a cash grab, you could argue that it being ported to the other consoles than staying on its original PS3 console was a cash grab too Bandai likely doesn’t know how this well be received by mobile in terms of profits ect and so wants to test the waters with this one 1st. It’s good for people who want to relive this on the go without any other console since everyone uses phones so it’s Nostalgic too Edit Opps my phone switched to a new video so disregard this comment as is unrelated
So annoying that they had time to develop storm connections into the mess that it was but not to just finish these and add them to the game. Instead we get more still frames
This makes me wonder if Bandai Namco released the trailer in 2014 and told CC2 to have the game out in two years in which they had to cut back on a lot of the games content I'm pretty sure they wanted to make this game the best Storm game but Bandai probably wanted a quick release like Storm Generation and Revolution which sucked compared to the main Storm games I wish Bandai Namco didn't own so many anime game licenses like One Piece and Dragon Ball maybe we would've had great anime games if they weren't so bad
