Last year I planted turmeric on top of the hill and now it’s ready to harvest.
I dig turmeric and use it to make adobong dilaw(yellow adobo) and turmeric fried rice. Turmeric can give a good aroma and color to the food. Thank you so much for watching! Always be good!

I've only have seen tumeric powder before. So tumeric look similar to ginger. Your tumeric adobo version looks delicious. I am surprised that you are not pursuing culinary because time and time again you showcased how good cook you are!!!

Hi Gayem Ben! turmeric is very healthy and beneficial to our health that’s why we always use turmeric in our rice Sinai ng and to our coffee beverage besides curry. In visayas (western) we use it in arroz Valenciana rice with different sahog like meat shrimp sausages with raisin and red bell pepper. Yummy!!!

Turmeric is a high value crop, you should cultivate that massively. It’s easier and not high maintenance unlike some crops. You can even develop it for an aftermarket product like powder and oil and distribute to restaurants and groceries carrying your brand.

Turmeric is the main spice of curry dishes. Next time use coconut milk, instead of water to make a sauce for your chicken... or any fish curry dish. To add flavour to your dish, add finely chopped lime leaves (remove the midrib of the leaf), red onions and before serving sprinkle with coariander or basil leaves.
