Sorry for my rambling in advance Meet timeline: www.openpowerl... Coaching and programs: strengthstudio... Instagram: @Jamal_B15 ... Steak: “Jamalb15” 25% off www.piedmontese...
I randomly found him on RU-vid a year ago when he did the 900x5, and barely anyone was following his RU-vid. I could not believe someone was repping 900Ibs and was unknown
Bro, this guy gives me hope about my future in lifting, I could never be as good as him, but I believe I can do a hell of a lot better than doubters In my life say I can. Thank you Jamal.
People don’t realize jamals conventional is strong as hell too...I think it’s over 800 pounds. If he trained conventional like cailer has it would be the same level as his sumo in no time.
Started lifting at age 12-13 Football and Track in high school Began training for bodybuilding, then transitioned to power Lifted with like-minded friends Read books, watched videos on powerlifting ...sounds like he's doing lots of things right. Keep going, man
Videos just getting better and better. Being transparent is what makes you different among the top. Look forward to seeing you completely reshape the powerlifting world bro.
Truly mindblowing how strong you are. I'm so glad you got into powerlifting, it's showing the world how high the ceiling really is. Can't wait to see how far you'll get in a couple years
Totally Positive vibes, energy and I love watching you Dead lift those insane amounts of gravity I'm older than you but you inspire me, you're the definition of anything is possible if you believe you can achieve keep focused Jamal .
The honesty is appreciated Jammel. You're a legend no matter what. It still requires brains, balls and talent to go anywhere near your level of achievement.
hey Jamal-- just felt like thanking you for sharing your content, man. i'm just getting into the world of powerlifting and you are by far the person who is standing out to me as an honest person with integrity. i really appreciate that. wishing you the best in success and health in everything in your life.
Jamal, would be so awesome to hear what your goals are dude. It feels like the sky is the limit, so I'd love to hear what you're aiming at at the moment, even for bench and squats.
Not only are you one of the strongest lifters on the planet but from watching your videos I feel like you are a nice and positive person. Keep those videos up man.
I aspire to be as strong as you (hopefully stronger). I've been learning the same way so far and will eventually have enough strength to show the benefits of just observing, testing and dominating.
the only thing that can be said about your lifts is amazing! i have been lifting weights for 46 years and have never seen anyone like you so young, and so strong at such a light weight!
Jamal youre so awesome i made sure i told my brother about you just last week i sent to him via Facebook i dont do contest anymore but still lifting at age 52 years ago my best was 671 d.l. at 198 and 693 in a workout a few injuries slowed me but i love powerlifting the feeling must be the adrenaline anyway youre the best deadlifter ever i see you in good health doing more than anything ever done before a little advice equipment protects your body .. Use it throw on a properly fitted deadlift erector shirt.. A deadlift suit and whatever belt youre in tune with best smelling salts chalk them hands and just do it. .just do it believe to achieve God put you where youre at for a reason...and he dont make mistakes youre an inspiration for black youth as well you and Julius maddox push the walls down.
When people say there's always someone stronger and better than you out there. This is the guy. 150 lb. less than Eddie and Thor and he clearly has much more potential in the tank. I don't think his max is 500 I think its much much higher. Hopefully he gets recognition he deserves for his hardwork. More collab's may help. Keep going this is a really good movie.
Why? I don't think Thor is going to feel threatened about him breaking the Strongman world record (not saying that Jamal can't do it, but it doesn't seem like he's training to beat it strongman style; suit, conventional, straps).
@@Micheldied Let's be honest, at the end of the day the person who has lifted the heaviest weight will always be considered the champ by most, regardless of the specifics. Yes, the strongman record will remain unbeaten, but who will people say deadlifted the most weight ever?
Keep doing RU-vid bro ! A lot more people need to know about you. Your strong asf and young. Keep going I believe with patience you will receive a lot of reward 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Just do more videos like that and make sure to pay more attention to audio etc. Hope your channel blows up and you reach 100K subs within next couple of months. GL bro! Pleasure watching you lift and talk. Stay humble
stay healthy and keep onthe journey for your own personal reasons whatever they may be!! ... its smart that you dont blast a ton of different extra compounds or harsher gear and try to go crazy witht that to blow up numbers even more (and good that you are more long term focused).. being patient and trusting the process ... all the best hope you get to continue to put up rreally big numbers for a long time man
You're awesome.. its been just 2 weeks that I follow you here, but I see your lifts in other channels for over a year.. i like how you sound, brings some peace and inspiration... would be nice to see you breaking the Deadlift world record... good job!
Much respect for talking so open about everything, ur beast keep working on yourself 💪 u are very big inspiration for me and for many more people out there too. Sending positive vibes from Slovakia 💪
Jamal with the job situation. There’s job here in Indiana, some lighter jobs than others but you can make easily $500-1400 a week brotha would love to help you out with your job so you can have money to be able to do bigger things ❤️
My question is what accessories does he do for other days because almost all he posts is the big 3 and he has crazy size, I only see him do a few sets of like isolation exercises on videos, this man has to have crazy genetics, he has really good potential
I honestly don't understand hating on Jamal, he's just uploading his training videos. Not talking shit about anyone or anything. Also, awesome pull once again :D
@D Sam Maybe, but if you look at statistics sumo really isn't noticeably easier than conventional. Look at the records for each weight class in powerlifting of sumo vs conventional, pretty much an even split of who lifts more in each weight class. Also, Jamal lifted the 476 without a suit, so I think even if sumo was easier that it should count if he does it raw
Hafthor weighed about 95 kg more than Jamal (assuming Jamal weighed 110 kg at the time of the lift) during his world record deadlift and only lifted 25 kg more. Jamal is an absolute beast.
I think it would be interesting to hear how your technique (on whatever lifts) changed or evolved over the years. The reasons why could be just as interesting as the lack of a reason why.
Crazy stuff man. Would be crazy if you were able to pull 500kg+ in a meet without straps. Can't even imagine what it feels like to hold that kind of weight in bare hands
do you remember your stats when benching squatting and deadlifting for the very first time? Like it would be interesting to know where u started from ... imagine being that guy who never worked out is skinny fat and is like 180lbs walking into the gym and benching 225 with the shittiest form of all time but for reps
I get what you're saying about encouraging people to do their own research first. So many people are looking for an obscure secret to take their deadlift to the next level, when really what's holding them back is a common technical or programming error. That's the sort of thing that can be addressed easily, and perhaps more effectively, by just reading an article with diagrams and videos, instead of through an Instagram dm. Your more specialized tips won't be productive for a lifter who doesn't know what "pull the slack out of the bar" means.
People comparing this to a different lift drives me insane. Its neither easier or harder its a DIFFERENT lift. Also meaning pulling 501+ Kg sumo style wont break a conventional DL World Record thats NOT how it works. Couldnt find a heavier sumo pull than jamals, so as soon as hes doing it in a proper environment with how strong he is it should be a Record already.
Fuck the trolls dude cant wait to see what the future looks like for you! you need to get that following up so you can live nice off training and take it to the next level!!! all love dude
People struggle to get 450 on squat or 700 on leg press. "My name is Jamal and I casually/nonchalantly pull 1060 lbs for reps" lol Jamal you're special bro... I'm glad you're a nice person.
