"Americans are stupid" - Bill Maher YOU, Bill and Geroge the old fuck are no exception. So STFU! America is only the .001% sh* you allow yourself to see. Not even 10% of Americans know what the US is let alone what it stands for. If America actually had 50% of it's population properly educated and were actually taught about the principles behind the US we'd be so awake idots talking bs would be shoveling it rather then talking it.

Boogie since you have PTSD And since I’m a fan of your videos as well as a first hand victim of 9/11. as well as a sufferer of PTSD as a result of that. I would like to share my story. When I was in elementary school. Around 3rd grade. My school was only a few blocks from the twin towers. (Chambers street Tribeca NYC) well the planes hit during 1st period. 9AM, and under neath our school was the burning towers. The people jumping out. And the sounds of the jet engines before the impact. All above our little school. All of it happened right before my eyes. Family and friends died. And since that day I live with the trauma. Well to make a long story short. I felt it nevcesaery to tell you being a fellow sufferer of ptsd. And fan. That we share the same pain. All be it from different things. And it’s true what you say I hardly remember that old America. 8 years old and covered in the ashes. All I remember after was fear and talks of war on the news and today here I am. Much love bro. Great video.

My Dad told me a story of where he was on 9/11. My family was in Jersey City at the time and my mom was dropping my brother off to school. My dad was going to the path train to go to work. So while on the train, he saw the first tower on fire. he couldn't believe what he was looking out of the windows. Him and other people watched as the second plane ran into the second tower. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. So they got off at Newark Penn Station and everything was free that day. My dad and his co workers walked to work and watched on live television as the towers came down. They were angry and one guy was yelling and cursing. They were in disbelief. So as soon as the 2nd plane hit, they evacuated my brother's school and he went home early. The other kids were scared but he wasn't for some reason. and 2002, i was born and lived in Jersey City until 2005. So that's my family's story of 9/11.

I was two years old when 9/11 happened. Too young to remember however but I heard my parents and grandparents perspectives. My mom (RIP) was taking care of me when she heard of it through my aunt and she watched it. And my dad watched it at work on tv. My grandmother’s perspective affected me forever until the day I die. She heard it from my aunt through the phone and just like boogie here my grandma turned on the tv to the news channel. And just the seconds after she did, she saw the second plane hit the south tower live. I will never imagine the horrors of that day. I honestly don’t ever want to feel those feelings. RIP to the Victims of 9/11/2001. They are never forgotten and shall never be forgotten. 🙏🏻✝️🕊️🇺🇸

I had a friend die in the attack. Remember when you saw the 2nd plane hit? It hit her office. As a result, I wasn't heartbroken when it happened. I wasnt upset, or sad, or angry. The best way to sum up my reaction for about three days after that was "Huh. Well, fuck." That was the amount of time it took for me to accept that no, she's probably not alive. But you know, people talk about feeling patriotic and such afterwards. I didn't. I didn't love the country. For the first time, I hated the country I lived in. Because you see, i'm a pacifist. I cannot hurt other people, and would not in any situation. Its just who I am. And to see people using the memory of my dead friend to justify war sickened me. Our response to violence was more violence. As if that ever solved anything. Really, it almost always makes things much worse (see: the middle east today.) And I admit, I did in some way want revenge. But I also knew that compromising my beliefs was something my friend would never have wanted me to do. After that I developed post traumatic stress disorder. Because like I said, every time you saw that clip, you saw my friend die. and I saw it so many times. Im better now. It's been so long, I've moved on. Though people leave me alone on the anniversary, as per my request. I give myself one day a year to be upset about it. What a miserable fucking situation.

I am sorry for your loss. I lost many friends and colleagues that day. I will say that we do need to protect ourselves better. Even a pacifist can see how important it is to keep terrorists and criminals out of this country. I am no fan of Donald Trump, but I must admit that the idea of strengthening our borders is so self-evident I cannot understand how anyone would be against it.

Henry Jackson and the whole reason we are in the middle east is oil money hell we only fought saddam after he went for the kurdish territory, the oil rich territory in the north of iraq, before that we gave him weapons and money, the policy of this country has been controlled by money for hundreds of years

Before anyone reads this, I'm not trying to be disrespectful at all, so keep that in mind if you're planning on replying lol Aesthetically, I love this land. I love a lot of the people here, and I love the cultural diversity that flourishes here. But I'm ashamed of our government, and a lot of the history that our schools "protect" us from, growing up. Personally, I'm a libertarian, so you can probably guess where I stand on a lot of political topics lol. As far as where our country stands post 9/11, it's hard to say if things will ever be the same again, or if they should be. Economically, we were sound, but there's been corruption and a widespread sense of creeping paranoia latching itself on and off of the public for quite some time. It seemingly tends to come in waves. Of course, it's probably the worst it's ever been at this point in time - unnecessary paranoia is at an all time high, along ethnic insensitivity. Since 2001-2, empathy itself, seems rare. Overall, I think the government has this ridiculous tendency to get the people on board with an idea, use the approval of the people to further a private agenda, and then make the people pay for it in some way shape or form. And I'm not necessarily saying that's what happened on 9/11, but I think we can all agree that the way the federal government explained it is complete horse shit lol. I've always been the type of person who questions everything, and tries to find a more reputable or sensical answer. Obviously, though, I have nothing but respect for those who died righteously for, and as a result of, that date, though I wish it'd never happened. As far as military actions go - I personally believe we've committed some heinous crimes, and a lot of innocent people have died, though, I don't think a lot of those who've signed up for war did it to be evil people. War, itself, is evil. Acts of terrorism are evil. None of it should have happened, and even though I totally sympathize with those lives lost and all the people who felt they did what they felt needed to be done, I don't think acting out of passion excuses a lot of the injustices we've committed as a nation acting out of fear and retaliation. As always, great video - I especially love your story time stuff, and I can't wait to hear more of your history with gaming in general, or just more about your personal life. Stay passionate, man! I'm always rooting for you.

i was in school, and it was terrifying, people going apeshit and crying, and hiding in bathrooms and screaming for their families. Consider yourself lucky, seriously, I almost lost my father.

I remember that day also. I was 7 years old (I'm also from Europe) and when it all happened I was in school. Later that day I watched it on TV how planes hit a building for no reason. For me back then it was confusing and now when I'm 18 i did a lot of research about 9/11 and I'm even more confused than back then. That day people weren't allowed to decide either to live or die, it was taken from them by force

I hardly remember when I was 6 years old. It was just a half day in school and my mom rushed me home. I understood what was happening sort of, once we got home to the TV with one of the towers burning.

22 from Romania , I remember 9/11 2001 pretty vividly , I was outside as usual and I remember it was raining and I was pretty pissed none of my friends were out, so I went inside the house and the TV was on, it was the news covering this story. I didn't really think much about it tho, i was 11.

I think I was 4 years old when 9/11 happened. It highly effected me. Apparently, in the month following it, I would draw pictures of what I saw. And I cried. I'm not sure if it's possible to be depressed at 4, but I was. I was always sad and I

I'm 26. I was a freshman in highschool when it happened. I've been watching everything fall apart my entire life. I can remember when it was legal to protest. I can remember when it was legal-ish to speak ill of our government. When it took warrants to wiretap. When we didn't have a war that will never end. Why can't we accept that we cannot control everything and that bad people will do bad things regardless of how many times you make the same thing illegal!?

I watched "Tommy Boy" with my fiance last week...and it got to the part where they sneak onto the plane dressed as flight attendants and I immediately thought "Try that shit now and you would vanish...forever." Ahhhh Pre-9/11 America...may she rest in peace.

Not only was 9/11 the deadliest terrorist attack in the civilized world, it also caused a war that is still going on today, in 2018. It is still taking the lives of our great American soldiers. Long live the greatest democracy to see this Earth, and may we get through this difficult time in our history.

I've always been a history nerd, haven't failed a history test since 3rd grade. Me and my dad both like it and we always watch things like the history channel and read history books. Everyone calls me a nerd for knowing history, but I always reply with "Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

All I know is that when I started to see things change around me was in 2006 when Tony blair left office and that crocodile nature guy was killed by a fish. I was in the car with my dad and mum looking for a school. That I knew was the first sign of the world changing for me. 2001, was a change i knew that the world felt it was the end of that place we knew. But things were innovating, things were getting better. 2010s came along and I left school too collage. But as the height of the internet I fall in 2014. I was in a loop void for 2014-2017 but 2016-2020 were the dark times for the world. I was in 2014 expectations completely went and change wasnt good for me. When the world changed that was completely whack. Didnt know who or what was real. 2020 pandemic was not good anther nail in the coffin in the world, we all saw that change was definite everyone had to work together. As we were in lockdown I did feel a sense of closure off that. Likf I wasnt alone. But everyone were missing the old times. The Simpsons, ps2 games and trying to forget today's politcal horror that was ugly. You could see though as Biden had got into office, that things were toned down and a subtle calmness. But 2021 was the well-being year, that people social declined social interaction, I was going through in the summer a qourter life crisis. It was not nice. The pandemic had closed me in for so long and I didnt recognise anything outside. But I coped and what helped me was kingdom hearts game that I played in 2002. Loved that game. I was doing animations and I this inktober on Instagram I was doing arts drawinv and animation. Now doing a comic and enjoying it. But I do sense that change can be abit tricky. Its that you want to know the world you know or recognise, I god mild autism and searching this stuff I latch onto things, not a good habit, but on the things that eased me like kingdom hearts or things i like that makes it better. Life can be a bit of a rollercoaster at times. I know that the world we live in nos isnt the same from 2013, I hope that place comes back, fun times.

A guy with a knife robbed someones house somewhere in the USA the other day. To ensure all of us are safe, we will now have cameras and microphones in everyone's house so we can send cops right away if anything like that happens. That is post 9/11 America in a nutshell. Hell, maybe I gave them a new idea.

You're right about looking at both sides, you're probably the first whom I've heard say that. But I believe they deserve SOME props because they AT the very LEAST care about these kind of things. I prefer having these people over the people that care more about their iphones and what's on the radio.

The ironic thing is, on that day, they're were more people who died in car crashes specifically due to the no-fly zone on 9/11/01.
