hi brenda long time listener here! ur love story reminded me so much of how my bf and i met - i too met him on a dating app during a time when i was so disillusioned about online dating i actl deleted the app shortly after we started talking (but i shifted our convo off the app right before that! something about him that made me want to continue talking to him, my terrible response speed nonetheless hahaha). during our first date he also specially brought me arabica coffee because i mentioned that it was my favourite coffee place 🥺 it was the best slow burn, hearing about ur story made me feel the same warm fuzzy feelings again! 🥰

I actually met my partner at a workplace haha! Totally unexpectedly met him on a day shift since I just left a toxic relationship and didn't wanna date at all. I knew this someone new is joining the shift i was in and I originally planned to make the first move and say hi to him as a personal challenge to initiate convo. However, he ended up saying hi to me first (still kinda wished I made the move first) and I thought to myself - yes, you sir had me at a hello with how you carried yourself and your confidence. I also liked his eyes with his cap on. 🥺🥺💖💖 My journey is kinda similar to yours because we both were just casually hanging out and talked early on - I just thought it's nice to hangout with him and talk about things and he'd offer free rides back home after shift or hangout sesh. It slowly became an endearing, safe and healthy space to build a new relationship that helps me grow as well. His little gestures of generosity and kindness throughout really made me see just how open his heart is and how secure he feels within himself. That attracted me so much.
