That part of movie Jason saw Eazy E In the hospital bed looking for faith but it hard keep NWA save That means God said trust Believe Inside yourself In the mirror find Christ ❤
He's the best actor I've seen ever. The Last scene got me crying. When he's yelling at the doctor after the bad news. It tears me up man. It's not fair
+Theodore M. K I Agree, she is my all time favorite female rapper. She has not ever used her body or got naked to push great music from female artist. Loved her then and love her now.
"Everything we've done has not been positive, ya know, but it's been honest." --Ice Cube. That's a beautiful quote. I like the way he added that they didn't loot and burn buildings, they just stayed creative.
When Straight Outta Compton dropped it hit everywhere. It didn't matter if you were white or black, in a hood or in a rich part of town. We all felt the energy, the lyrics. It blew our minds. I remember all my friends and I listening to it. N.W.A really helped open the eyes of people to social injustices. We saw the riots, we knew about gangs. We began to realize the struggles of inner city youth. It changed my life in a way.
2 more chairs an empty one and one for the actor who played ren i wonder how ren feels about the fact his charecter is not on the panel clearly they are past pride and i understand rens story wasnt told as much as the others though still it would be nice to see them all represented across the board. as they all did a remarkable job in their roles no matter how small.
Every single part. She talked to cube and dre first then went straight to the cast to ask them questions. Then finally acknowledged ren and yella!! Well like nwa said. A bitch is a bitch!!!
Fucking agreed. Really wanted ren and yella to get theire respect. But everyone lost theire shit when dre and cube came and talked. Ren and yella were like invizible here.
Legendary. Not everyone in the music movies knows their power but NWA Dre Cube did their music has changed so many people's lives in so many ways. Not every kid grew up in the hood but a lot of kids have had a hard life and can understand what Dre was saying. NWA Dre Cube made history in so many ways so did Eazy-e he was the man who started it all bless him for what he did in such a little bit of time. Rest in peace Eazy-e.
+Indie Marie No thanks i already saw it in theaters last night. and hdmovie14.net/watch/straight-outta-compton-2015/fullmovie-putlocker-megashare9.html has it so i saw it before last night
they portrayed him as an angry punk, he was chill af in all of his interviews. disgraceful movie, should be called 'straight outta tomica and dre's mouth'
I loved it all the, Old to the, the New Straight. Out Compton's; I grew up In Los Angeles' 1966,-1993 I have , A Love for All nationalities of People and Respect. Mother: Patrice 02/07/2021
Cube for President. 2016. Seriously, I'm a white girl from the suburbs, and I freaking LOVE this movie. Dunno how many times I've watched it on HBO at this point. I love how they said, "It's okay to be from Compton, never be ashamed of that." My mom helped set up a women's clinic in Compton in the early/mid-90's, so she was driving down there a couple times every week. When the clinic opened, we all went down to Compton for the Sunday morning church service/opening ceremony. I don't think I've ever met a more warm and welcoming community than the good people of Compton, CA. There was no judgment, no awkwardness, no hesitation. Just open doors and open arms. God bless Compton.
When she said the "Our art is a reflection of our reality " quote from Cube, ( She said Eazy said it ) look at the far right and see O'Shea Jr reaction at Jason Mitchell
I already saw this movie, 'Straight Outta Compton, twice. Dropped more tears, growing up in Inglewood, California at the same time all this was/is going on. Felt good to see all of it documented in a really good time-period-feature-film. Wow, this movie deserves some awards for sure! I AM very impressed of this movie. Thanks for making this movie and showing what has been going on in Los Angeles for so many years.
Cuz 2pac does sucks! 2pac raps better than today artists but he sucks when it comes down to the originators like Bone Thugs & NWA! Two groups that started a trend! Today artists are using that Bone Thugs style! Also artists today are cursing in their records because of NWA! TrueFacts!
Jegir Doski Tupac was a Fake STUDIO GANGSTA! 2pac lied about knowing his real father in his songs. 2pac Never Sold any drugs, His original rap name was MC New York. He started out as a back-up dancer for Digital Underground. He went to acting school.Where all his friends were mostly white kids as a teen. He also was a ballet dancer. He never had a Crimanal Record till after he started rapping. He was from the EAST COAST!!! He didnt move to cali till he was 17 where he than lived with a white woman who tutored him and later became his manager.
I just came back from seeing this movie...all I can say is EXCELLENT!!! You guys did everything you set out to do with this movie! It transported me back to the 80s...I felt every scene...especially the scenes with the police brutality. Eazy E scenes in the hospital...yes I shedded a tear...I truly loved this movie! I am so proud of the men of NWA...I grew up with them...Ice Cube...I have loved him for years...Dr. Dre, Yella, Ren...all you guys should be very proud!!!
+rager86 Yeah he do. now I see why they didn't let Lil Eazy E to play Eazy in the movie because they wanted a person to portray Eazy right. but I respect Lil Eazy and I think he's really talented.
Thank you so much for these special gems and gold nuggets. I really enjoyed the conversation with everyone bringing something special and unique to the table. I saw the movie once and after watching this, I plan to go back to see the movie again for the 2nd time especially after "feeling" each and everyone depicted here. I loved the movie, but have an even greater appreciation for the how yall brought it if this is even possible. Much love to you all.
'' Father, my friends are going to Spain for the summer, where are we going?.................................COMPTON GOD DAMMIT !!!! '' - John Witherspoon.
ever since i saw this movie, i just loved their music and their story. i never knew what n.w.a. was or what is was about until i saw this movie. it gave me so much more respect for everyone in this and ice cube the most. i honestly can say, their music is like the only thing i listen to anymore.
We have ALL done things wrong in our lives, including you...& I'm sure you don't have to look back ten or more years to find something you've done that your not proud of...& you are so lucky that we can't google you to find all the mistakes you've made...But should you not be shown respect today? You live, & you learn...
I went to see this movie yesterday, loved it. One thing that annoyed me though, the scene when Eazy gets told he has HIV the whole cinema burst out laughing... Am I the only one who thinks that's weird as fuck?
Maybe they were laughing at Eazy's remark: "But I don't fuck guys" or something like that... He thought that you can only get aids from fucking men, that was funny to me too
Those 4 young actors are super talented, beyond Straight Outta Compton, which they're all great in, I'd love to see these young actors get a lot more opportunities to appear in great films. From comedies, drama action etc because each one is so fantastically talented.
Anything F. Gary Gray Direct's and Ice Cube produce or have any type of affiliation with I am always in love, inspired, and just look forward to being successful in life. This Movie was not only touching, Straight Outta Compton was educational, encouraging, heart touching and made me just want to not give up on what I want in Life. Thank God for creating all of you guys because rather any of you read this or realize it you inspire a lot of people and I wish, hope and pray to God that I can have some type of way or chance to meet and work with all of you. God Bless!
These new kids have nothing to aspire to. 90s were a different time. Many people were still on welfare. There wasn't a whole lot of millionaires like today. It seems that now overnight you can become rich with little effort. And spoiled kids walking around with iPads, iPods, are never going to understand what being poor on food stamps is.
But it's not just rap losing its originality the same can be said for country music with its Pop hybrid form. Rock has always stayed true. Although some bands have tried to mold into something else. For example Linkin Park.
no the best gangsta rapper and definitely not the godfather of gangsta rap, those titles belong to Kool G Rap, if you don't know, get a clue and look him up.
Jason Mitchell representing the N.O. fa Shinno!!!I just saw the movie with my wife and from what I remember of the music, these guys hit the decades of NWA in a matter of hours. Great job and hats off to all involved.
The Movie made out that cube WROTE EVERYTHING. I hated that because if you look back ren wrote twice as much. plus ren wrote eazys verse on Fuck the police...
These are TRUE PIONEERS! They proved to the masses that not only is hip hop more than just a passing fad but also you don't have to be from the East Coast to be able to rock the mic! It took N.W.A a lot of heart and smarts to do it! Love those guys to the fullest! R.I.H Eazy E!
I just got to say that I had a light crush on M.C Lyte ( hardy har ) as a kid, and more so on her voice / music I was listening to then, but wow! She just looks so beautiful in this video. Much love!
Love the movie and the group i grew up in that ara with those times not everywhere was as bad but the 80s early 90s was hard times for alot of people i have alot of respect for these guys i still ask my self some times whats the world coming too my uncle was living in las Angeles at that time and he had stories of how bad it was its awsome to see people come from a hard place better their selves and make a difference
Damn!!!!! Got F. Gary Gray on this panel. I haven't seen him since he directed TLC videos and the 90s hip hop videos. Damn! Throws me back just seeing him, even though I assume he's been doing a ton of things since the early 2000s.
Mike Killagreen Peema Morgendorffer Did you all read my comment carefully... at all? What decade was Friday made? What decade was Set It Off made? Answer those questions and reread my comment.
1 great movie the west gets much respect because of this gangster group remember that yeah ice T put it down great too but this group turn it out l was around 20 years old and you couldn't that album was the best shit l ever heard
Yelp l think that is when l went from east to the w west coast l wanted to check out the rest of the west coast to see what else was going on and that was great but the west never got the respect they deserved to me
